Grand Retribution Master Sage
« on: January 16, 2010, 08:57:37 AM »
I don't intend to use him but someone else might be able to

Name: Otu
Age:  16
Race: Sage
Alliance: None but pretends to serve Lorei.
Biography: He has discovered Retributon by age 8 and as such was highly respected by all the other sages on his planet. He then decided that it was time for him to leave his planet. He then left in search of people who could further his magical abilities to allow him to triumph. Once he learned his planet had been destroyed by an ancient curse woven to eradicate mages like him who could access the power of Retribution and control it he decided it was time to deal with this threat personally and so went to Lorei where he forged a blade for himself. He then struck a deal with the leader there gaining permission to allow him to live there. However as part of the deal he would not rely on his abilities. He however is remembering his past lives currently in which he got more training than he currently has.
Weapons: Short Sword
Equipment: Animites, Silver Retribution Staff (Contains Retribution abilities. )
Magic Level: 4 And in events 5
Psion Level: 3 (He is not that advanced at Psionics)
Appearance:  http://andreibressan.deviantart.com/art/Second-shot-150531521

Orph however is forbidden from using this character.

Wasn't Avidan supposed to be the last of the Negion users from the past? God damn Hawk, if you make a plot stick to it. Don't modify it so you gain more power, that's just cheap as Hell.
The world is a mess..and I just need to..rule it.

I agree with Orpheus. Actually, couldn't that be considered metagaming?
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

He will actually be using

Retribution
This Magic type is made completely from the innate abilities supplied by it combined with the magic of a basic sage and is the only known counter to Negion. This magic was made by a group of monks who hated the fights between Negion Users and so they made this magic which nullifies Negion on contact meaning a Negion blast and a Retribution Shield, the Retribution Shield would overpower the Negion Blast as one small example.

Innate Abilities
Energy Blasts
Energy Constructs
Flight
Precog
Telepathy
Mind soothing
Emotion Manipulation
Weapon Creation

As his power set instead of Negion.

So... 18 to 16... 2 years would equal an increase from lvl 4 to lvl 5? No. 16 years old is too young, I believe, especially since he learned unique magic. I'm gonna leave this to the others.

Character is not approvable, and so is invalid.

At least offer an explanation why with your opinion. I thought you saw something that I didn't see.
