Magic Level:
Virus is not capable of magic.
However. He has his own form of power, through the power of the RD Virus that was installed within him. You see, this Virus itself isn't merely malignant code, its so much more. It is a powerful RD System in and of itself, it can hack software, delete programs, even rewrite the laws of physics around them!
However...He cant use it at will.
You see, the Virus isn't entirely a virus. Its hard to explain; while it IS malignant code and dangerous, it poses no threat to him. However, there are security locks on it, that keep the data compressed. Its always visible, just look at the five rotating rings around his wrist(just a bit of a not, but no two adjacent rings rotate the same direction). Each of those rings represent a part of the viral code, all in a different level of encryption. The code itself monitors everything around him, and once he is in a dangerous situation, it gauges the danger based upon power, from 1-6(remember, he's missing the sixth data packet), and temporarily unlocks the security codes, allowing the data to decompress(which is represented by each decompressed ring growing vastly), which allows him to use its power to affect the world around him very similarly to magic. He cannot force these to activate, nor can he choose to the degree of the security unlocking. The data will only allow him to use his power up to to maximum danger, as it determines that danger to be.
The only true 'tell' that lets when know for certain when he's using his powers is the fact that reality itself seems to 'bug' or error, like small patches of static might be seen by the person for a fraction of a second or horizontal/verticle lines may appear through their vision for less than a second while they hear static noise-again, only for that fraction of a second.
Decompression Level 1:This is the constant form always seen. No real abilities given, he can technically use any of his abilities but they only affect software(like hacking into a computer, for example).
Decompression Level 2: Aside from having the ability to use low-power programming(such as programming a Real Data fireball to strike a foe, for example), this level gives him the ability to Program, different than the normal RD programming all Decompression Levels except for one give him. He can program anything at all, but its time consuming, which is why he more often defaults to the normal, low-level-only programing in this situation. Unlike normal RD programing, the reason this takes more time is that is saps his concentration and focus in order to think of how exactly to work the data. Something to be noted is that this exact ability evolves the higher the Decompression level, making it progressively easier to overstep the security by programming things he shouldn't be able to, though it'll always take longer than the stuff he should be able to.
Decompression Level 3:Stronger than Level two programming is enabled, allowing him to make more dangerous stuff faster. He can also 'Glitch'. Glitching basically allows him to move from one place straight to another by temporarily turning his surroundings into Real Data, then rewriting his location in relevance to everything near him, and/or rewriting it so that he can essentially instantly have whatever object he'd be able to normally program he wants, without any form of wait time(this be WHY its always easier to normally program than the other method XD)
Decompression Level 4:Greator ability to program, still has other abilities lower-Levels have, and gains him Deletion. Deletion allows him to turn physical objects into Real Data and delete them, getting them out of his way or blah blah. However, deletion does not work nearby as well on sentient Real Data, since it just doesn't respond to the command(this includes organics he turns into Real Data). He can possibly PARTIALLY delete them, but never enough to kill them. Of course, Deletion can be used INDIRECTLY to kill someone...
Decompression Level 5: More power than the lower levels, same as the stuff before it, and it gives him the Hack. This is very similar to Deletion, except instead of deleting whatever-it-is, he hacks it, and alters its code, before it turns back to normal. the effects of hacking CARRY over to that, by the way. While he can use it against organics, again, he cant directly kill them. He can, however, screw with them by confusing all of their neural signals or infecting them with a RD virus(not his Virus, a normal virus).
Decompression Level Six(He does not have this, and so cannot activate it even in a fight against someone that powerful, unless he finds the remaining data, and even then, it'd be event-only due to how powerful it is):His abilities are maxed out in this level. No way for him to be better, especially since he gets whats known as 'Administration' in this state. By using Administration, he can instantly rewrite almost anything around him. Sentient RD of a strong will and mind are capable of resisting the power, but he can still administrate the area around him.
