A visit from the Vice Chairman

[Admiral Regis Hermitage]

A small INTERPOL ship orbits above the Relorian planet.

<<<Requesting permission to land. This is the INTERPOL ship, Angola. We are carrying the Vice Chairman of the INTERPOL Advisory Board. We have an appointment with a Relorian Representative wishing to become part of the INTERPOL>>>

[Nisorin]

Within a few seconds, landing lights bloom into life along a newly-solidified strip for the ship.

The ship clears the atmosphere, and lands. The door opens on the landing strip, as a few agents walk out along with a man dressed in a Zarethian Senate uniform.

[Nisorin]

Before them stands an older woman dressed in leather and feathers, a sort of otherworldly feeling emanating from her as she stares at each newcomer in turn. "Come. I will bring you to Archimand and Apella. Be aware that we are currently in a state of war, and thus visitors are being watched." She says, before turning and walking in the opposite direction, towards a large patch of fog. "Watch your step. The ground is not quite solid, and the fog is thick today."

[Admiral Regis Hermitage]

He orders the agents to stay with the ship as he follows her.

[Nisorin]

"Gutsy." A new voice calls out from the fog, sharp and female, with a small hint of insanity. "Leaving behind your bodyguards and walking blindly into the fog on a planet you have never visited before, inhabited at least in part by a culture of powerful tribalistic shamans. Gutsy, or stupid. So which is it, Mr. Representative?"

[Admiral Regis Hermitage]

"Maybe both... " he follows behind her. He accesses his neural implant that he never bothered to get removed when he left the ISAF, and switches to thermal.

[Nisorin]

All around him seem to be random pockets of heat and cold, much of it moving seemingly just as randomly. "Maybe? Interesting, one who is aware of their own uncertainties. What do you want with a planet of sludge and shamans?"

[Admiral Regis Hermitage]

He turns it off. "I have been requested to meet with a Relorian representative about the possibility of the Relorian empire becoming part  of INTERPOL"

[Nisorin]

"Ah yes, that silly little group borne from the stupidity of the sentient races inhabiting this dimension. How intruiging. Will you then, stand between us and our goal of freeing Existence from the folly of those charged with protecting and prolonging it?" She asks, the fog shifting and churning as something walks towards the representative.

[Admiral Regis Hermitage]

"Our goal is to simply provide an easier and more diplomatic way to detain and try dangerous fugitives...", he looks up to see the person walking towards him.

[Nisorin]

"Well then you should be detaining myself. A disciple of a being who should not exist, calling upon powers both ancient and modern, often blurring the lines between myth and reality. I assume you have heard of the recent events regarding the Aralangs and a miss Hikaru Tyris of the Sages? She was a highly dangerous fugitive, would you try to detain her?"

[Admiral Regis Hermitage]

"The aralangs are not part of the INTERPOL treaty. Therefore, their problems are not ours. Besides... she once helped a friend of mine.", he looks around. "Will the Relorian representative be arriving soon?"

[Nisorin]

She steps out of the edge of the fog, the low cloud billowing a bit about her as she stops ten feet away from him. "Now now, who do you think cooked up this place? For an ambassador, it would seem your powers of deduction are rather lacking. Whether the Aralangs are or are not a part of your treaty is irrelevant to me. Would you have tried to aid the Aralangs in detaining her?"

[Admiral Regis Hermitage]

He comes into the newfound clearness... "Had they requested INTERPOL's assistance, the board would've met, discussed and voted. More likely than not, we wouldve helped. Should a situation like that would've happened in a participating member of the group, they could've streamlined the process. It all depends if the empire feels that it can deal with such a problem or not, or if the fugitive wanted crossed inter-imperial boarders. "

[Nisorin]

"A time-consuming process, breeding the illusion of inaction. Dangerous, my little friend, dangerous indeed. You may find you need someone more apt to act than to speak. We Relorians shall give you a chance, though we will not lower our defenses for you. Now, I will ask you to leave. I have much to attend to. A tracer shall be placed on the hull of your ship, and Archimand will find you once he is ready." She says, walking right up to him, a slightly insane orange glow emanating from deep within her eyes. She strokes his cheek softly with pointer and middle fingers, grinning almost mischievously at the ambassador before disappearing into the fog, which promptly starts to clear, revealing but a single path away, back to his landing craft.

[Admiral Regis Hermitage]

He walked back to his landing craft and back to his bodyguards. "Well, sir?", one says. "What'd they say." He proceeds to walk back into the ship. "Get us to Teffilin." The ship departs after getting clearance from the Relorians.
