So, I was thinking of participating. But I don't like SP. Yet this email looks rather interesting, and the fact I even decided to log on and post this should be proof enough of that. However, I want to know what I'm getting myself into, and to make it as easy as possible to see what I'm expecting and what I want to know, I made a nice little list of questions that must be answered.

Hawkeye is not allowed to answer any of the following questions.

- Exactly how is RPing here going to be new from before? Or was that typed just to look pretty? If not, explain.

- What's this silly Plex thing, because I haven't even seen the word once while I was in this RP. This is a key question, and can make or break my decision!

- How are you going to let EVERYONE participate in this storyline event when practically every other storyline event promised the exact same thing but once again remained closed to everyone but the same exact members of SP that are in every other storyline?
--- In the very unlikely event that you CAN get everyone to participate, no matter who they be, state specifically the steps taken to ensure this. Accuracy of your statements are most definitely required.

- Are epoch circles still banned, because they were considered magic (hence being listed in the GRIMOIRE) and they were apparently the first and only magic spells to be banned, versus [insert spell or ability probably done by Orph that's even more god moddy] that can be used all the time. This is a key question, and can make or break my decision!

- How much drama still exists? (Aside from Gaser and his family. Sad to hear about that.) Be honest. I want to know what I'm going to be dealing with if I so happen to participate. The answer to this question will not affect my decision.

- What kind of god moddy technology and magic should I expect this time? (Linking to Orph's or Gaser's tech topics are not valid answers. EVERYTHING in those are god moddy. 8D ) The answer to this question will not affect my decision.

- Is there anything else I should know if I decide to participate in this season finale? The answer to this question will not affect my decision.

Depending on your answers, I might participate.
'Unsure' or 'Can't tell you!' answers, along with anything relating to them are unacceptable. Answer as accurately as possible. Unless it's that last one, I'll understand if you don't want to give me a Cheezburger. They're too good to give.

Look, if I decide not to participate, you don't want me to participate. I won't be interested and end up disliking SP far more than when I started, and half the stuff I'll contribute will be half assed and my posts would be lacking if I decide to RP in a RP I don't want to RP. So it's not like you don't benefit if I decide not to. (Not saying you would benefit if I decide to participate, despite what your nifty email may say.)

Because these are questions I have to know before I even consider 'coming back' to SP. Plus, in this email along with a few previous ones I've gotten, SP has marketed itself as a business providing entertainment rather than a Roleplaying forum. That said, the actions of the staff is now considered 'PR' to me, and says a lot about how it's structured. I'd like to know if SP has 'grown up' and has gotten better about this stuff considering the stance they're taking.

I only came here to entertain myself through RPing, and might do so again. This questionnaire makes my transition as painless as possible to RP here once more if I so decide to do so.

You didn't even look at the last question. Just typing the required words doesn't mean you read the whole post. And I highly doubt your answer about Plex is the same answer I'm looking for from preferably one of the staff.

Just answering what I know, because most of it is all K2s area.

Plex is the negative dimensional core. See K2s topic here that explains the cores and their functions, http://shatteredplanes.com/forum/index.php?topic=369.0 . Plex is the Negative sides core and the Outerverse is the Positive sides core.  But Plex is alive because the Dimensional Guardians gave it a spirit and made it sentient as a means to destroy Koty. They locked it up as a sort of ultimate weapon to destroy Koty/Embodiment of Destruction.

How that involves everyone I can't say, because I don't know. You'd have to ask K2 on that one. But there was also an embodiment war where some took the side of Plex and some took the side of Destruction, and others such as Time were completely neutral.

There's MORE on Plex, but that's specifically for s5 and you'd have to ask K2. I've been sworn to secrecy by him. He's hiding a big plot. Big, big, big plot. Very complex, a lot of twists in the entire story, and a huge goal.

NV or Escape? If it's neither of them, not sure. Unless you mean that rebirth of CE.

Nisorin: Active but bored as hell as a lot of his characters involve people inactive or unable to be on. He's here if you start a storyline with him though.

K2: At the moment semi-active because of school, but should gain more activity as that subsides and it gets closer to summer.

Lyoko222: Active for the moment, as he seems to post all the time. But might not be in the future, you'd have to ask him about that as I don't think he'd want it out yet.

Hiro: Here all the time pretty much, unless he's at school.

Zak: Here sparingly, seems to be increasingly more lately, but don't hold your breath. Just do what Hawk does and PM him when you need him to post. (Just not as much as Hawk does.)

Orga/Strange/Lovecraftguy: He posted a topic saying he was gonna be gone. But yet he seems to be posting the last few days. Whether this means he's back or not, is a wait and see or requires asking him. But before the topic he was largely active.

Orph/Aden: Recently back from the dead of getting a life, he's back but only with the Archive and his new character. Whether or not he's gonna be active depends on if he's busy in life or not. He's not that active on FB, so I can't measure that for SP much.

Myself: Active for approvals and staff work, but refusing to roleplay.

Swift: Gone.

Gaserlake: ...His case is unknown right now. If he can return, active. Everything depends on the restraining order hearing May 27th. If I win, he should be back. His mother can't possibly be that stupid and still restrict him, even after the law turns her down, I hope... If I lose. .....Don't expect him active till next year when he's of the age to tell her to fuck off.

As far as I have seen, none aside from that, which isn't on-site drama or even drama. It's just Gaser's family being stupid and his mother involving the law for the simple fact of helping a friend. But besides that, none. Then again, how can there be drama without the people around to make it? Taylor and Orph left, so with Orph's return, who knows.  But for now, zip, zilch, nada.

Plex is as Hikaru said, the Negative Dimensional Core given a spirit and sentience, placed into dormancy to serve as a weapon against Koty in the event he becomes unsealed. Some idiot, I forget who, woke him up. Probably Lucifer/Radical.

I'm trying to get a reality altering planet that completely disables AM and AS fields, as well as their numerous variants regardless of power, but that's about all I am aware of. Oh, and Hawk, but he's a given.

Well, Koty/Family are pretty much in cold storage for me, so Plex needs a new target. Therefore my characters wouldn't really be the center of attention, they could be in a way, but not in actual IC playage.

Yeah, I double posted. I'm used to it on Escape, so I guess I carried that habit over. Anyways, I forgot to thank everyone that answered, so thus:
Thanks for answering my questions!

However, even though it's probably only stuff K2 knows about, there are still two things I need to know.

- How is this finale set up to get everyone involved? From the looks of it, it does look like what I said earlier. But it looks like K2 has more of the answers than everyone else though, so maybe there's some ambiguity there.

And,

- Anything else I should know? I probably should have worded this a little better to 'anything important happen that I need to be aware of?'



If I do decide to participate, I won't be taking anything back (everyone gets to keep everything I gave them.), and I'll probably go with the Solstici I made a while back. However, if so, there will probably be a few changes and they'll need to get re-approved (Sorry staff, having to go make you read through my massive walls of text whenever I make a new race.)

We're trying to make things better than before -- that is, more like a roleplay and less like a Tabletop game. Also, a whole lot more action. SP's been pretty boring lately, because it was mostly psychological and phisological (sp?). We're making it more action-oriented.

As others have said, it is the negative dimensional core. The "possitive dimensional core", the Outerverse, absorbs energy from the dimensions, with the exception of hell, filters that energy, and feeds it back to the dimensions. Basically it's a giant hub for the dimensions, sustaining their life. Plex did this for Hell, only now it is more like a pocket of dimensional energy.

Plex is different from the Outerverse in that it's a living creature created to originally destroy Koty and Eli, as well as other embodiments. It has been locked in a deep slumber but is not half-awake, and durring this event, will wake up entirely. It has an army of "rebel embodiments" and various mortals. They will basically be on a rampage towards destroying everything when Plex wakes up, and there are some other twists involved which will be surprises.

How are you going to let EVERYONE participate in this storyline event when practically every other storyline event promised the exact same thing but once again remained closed to everyone but the same exact members of SP that are in every other storyline?

Plex's awakening will affect everything. Everything. One idea which we've had is having everyone who wants to be involved gather for some sort of "conference" just like the Dimensional Conference, but we've decided on something a bit more exciting which will have everyone who wants to be involved as such.

While we're still working out the details, basically, negative energy will be leaking into the possitive dimensional charge. Plex will literally be everywhere. This may sound godmodish, but it's not. It's just epicly insane. The fabrics of the dimension will be ripping, forcing everyone to bind together. The armies of Anarchy and the rebel embodiments will also be causing mass destruction. To stop it, anyone who wants to be involved will practically have to bond together.

Big surprise. Because everyone is tired of the same old people being the central part of the plot, we completely redesigned our plot for season five to reflect new plotlines. Season four's finale will involve a huge amount of plot twists, without revealing too much. Can't say more, sorry.
