Return to existence
« on: May 22, 2011, 12:55:59 PM »
A flash of white light filled the library-like area, dropping a young-ish man onto the floor. "Urgh...It's been too long...That took far too much energy." he muttered, dragging himself to lean against one of the bookshelves.
His name was Jay Stryder, the last Templar.
His head turned towards the seemingly infinite rows of bookshelves and he sighed. He was never good at working with the Records of Time, other Templars were always more capable of quickly finding the information they wanted and leaving. It would have been no large task to track down his own book and look into his future but since his initiation Jay refused wholeheartedly to touch anything to do with his future, it was always rapidly changing and it just made his head spin trying to keep track of it all.
His intention was to merely wander around the Records, gather his thoughts properly then make a start on finding a small planet to base his operations from.

((Sorry for the double post, was expecting Hik to come in on it.))
Jay brought himself to his feet, cracking his fingers. He wandered around the endless library for hours, picking up random books and flicking through them before putting them back in their places. He was hoping to possibly coming across the Lady Asura; He'd never been allowed to meet her back in the day but alas, he didn't see her.
He came across Earth's book.
Opening it with a grin, he flicked through the pages and read his own past life.
His expression dropped. He came across the pages to do with his family. He had joined up with the Templars without a second thought to those he'd cared about and only now, thousands of years later did he think about them.
He sighed, putting the book back. "Might as well wander the universe for a while. Make some friends or something. I'm sure something's going on that'll need me." He muttered to himself, white light emanating from him and eventually engulfing him. Moments later, the last Templar disappeared from the Records of Time.
