I just can't take it anymore, I need a break!
« on: July 11, 2011, 05:14:36 PM »
His mind was made up. The offer Jay had made had been most gracious, and he needed a vacation to get back in the right frame of mind. As of late he had been slipping, a lot more than usual something he would need to address and remedy. Vacation seemed to be the logical solution, plus he just had to get away and get back to basics.  The words of his mentor that it would be calm before the storm hit, came to mind and pretty much summarized what he thought the galaxy was going through. Last legs, indeed! He would need this time to recover, but he did not bother with anything fancy. No flashes of light, no loud bangs, and he kept his signature suppressed. Stupid Anrufe and other terrorist organizations couldn?t leave well enough alone.  Rest would be something he would have a lot of on this peaceful planet un-burdened by trouble makers and scum bags. At least here, on Inarin he would be safe from those. Or such was the hope that he held in his heart anyway as he did not want to continue this pointless struggle. People would get hurt, and maimed over time and guilt weighed on him. For he had perpetuated some of this, perhaps it was time he retired and let a younger more qualified generation handle things.

But he could atone. He would ensure that the next generation had the tools needed. From here he would work on his ideas and magical items in peace and quiet and would eventually be done. He had not landed near the citadel, but in a field. Extending out his palm and gathering the eldritch energies of magic he released them to form for himself a cabin. He walked inside it, laid down on the bed and was instantly asleep, worn out from all that had happened recently.

Upon Lucas' arrival on the planet though, a telepathic message was sent to him;

Narrikian. Why have you entered my Master's planet?

The voice boomed in his head of the Citadel, which was now monitoring him heavily.

However said citadel would encounter in the moment the telepathic communication had been sent, extreme amounts of weariness. More than was certainly healthy for an organic of any variety, but it was not just of body but of mind as well. Lucas had to push himself a lot recently and was slipping, losing his A-game and soon could not even lead the Narrikians. This qualified as an excuse to go to Inarin, rest and recuperate and then return when the time was right, but he would do the polite thing and respond even though he was too tired to do much.

TO REST and Relax. And I have his permission. THis would be telepathically sent to the Citadel.

Be warned, Narrikian. If you try anything upon this planet you will be frozen until a time in which the Elder returns.

After that, Lucas would have found the Citadel impossible to contact. One could only speak to it if it spoke to you first.

Done conversing with the defensive mechanism of the planet he had been told about, Lucas went inside the cabin once he had magicked it up. Laying down on the bed for a moment Lucas closed his eyes, to dream and to relax. But the dreams he had were not peaceful ones, but ones of the past and of the present, his memories began to play as dreams. The murder of Ezra, Marco and the others played in his mind over and over again tormenting him. The project had not been worth their lives, even though they had given it to the project.

 His dreams were further troubled, turning into nightmares. The nightmares caused him to toss and turn and his magical energy began to build up, turned volatile by his dreams. The planet itself would experience nothing, no fancy anything. Instead the ground began to quake. The whole cabin and the area around it began to shake. But, Lucas was a sound sleeper.

However Lucas' magic was rewound to a state of peace. The Citadel also froze Lucas' souls until a point in which he had woken up to ensure such happenings would not continue and potentially hurt the planet.

Awakening the next day at 5 Am as per his normal routine, Lucas simply went back to sleep. No fancy schedules, everything was dealt with. He had requested leave from the five families had gotten it and was now able to take a much needed rest. So he would rest until such a time as he had built his strength and will power back up enough. Outside however two targets formed. Later he would practice with his magic, get himself used to using it once more. The eternal saber pin was just a crutch, he couldn't rely on it forever after all. Eternal power like that was not something to be trifled with.

Five hours later, at 10 Am, GST he woke up. Feeling much better he leapt out of the bed and began to do the stretches and warmups he normally did before a training session.
