After successfully winning the battle in the Outerverse and removing the Aralang Dimension from the Outerverse, K2323 had tried to teleport to the Guardian Headquarters. Then, he tried again. Again and again. For hours, he sat there in the Outerverse, trying to teleport to his sister and friends. He found himself unable each time. When he could no longer sense the magic signature of his sister, he was led to one conclusion.
And he broke down and cried when he realized what had probably happened. Not just for his sister, but for his entire race, as well as for his friends. Had they really died? In such a swift manner, had they been wiped straight away? Had the dimension been destroyed? Who could have done such a thing?
He found himself at the Keeper Palace now, pure anger in his voice as he busted into the empty throne room where the Keeper Court had been held some time before. Eight thrones lined the wall opposite to K2323. Each was surging with power and energy, but each was empty. Each held host to no one. Not at the present moment.
The first throne was that of Sakael's, and then that of Lucifer, keepers of hell - the pit of death - They were as much to blame as anyone in all of this pain and suffering. If K2323 saw them then, he'd loose it. He'd do all he could to try and defeat them. He'd do anything to stop their reign ? to stop the death that they had brought upon precious life. Oh, so precious, life was!
The third throne, though, was that of Chaos. K2323's father. It was his father who caused so much pain and suffering in the life of many. Still, he knew that his father hadn't meant to get involved with the Anrufe. Not originally. He loved his father, despite everything. He knew that his father loved him too, and after being reunited with Gloria, he suspected that Chaos would renounce the names of the Anrufe.
Where was Chaos now, though? Not even K2323 knew for sure. He'd seen it, though, when he'd gone back to watch the fight of his clone in Hell. It had been on one of the plasma screen televisions in the Grand Hell Arena. His father had vanished in the middle of the tournament. His father had taken on some sort of.. chaotic form. Then, he vanished into some sort of portal.
The throne after his father's throne was that of Zere. K2323 couldn't say that he was entirely sure if Zere was alive or dead. Honestly, though, he didn't quite know what to feel about Zere. Was it good or bad that he wasn't around? Was it good or bad that he wasn't in the eye of the public? Where exactly was he, anyway?
His sister's death, though, was what really forced K2323 to tears. He fought with his sister, sure, but she was still family. She was one of the only ones K2323 had. She was one of the only ones who truly understood him. Her loss was so incredibly tragic to K2323.
As was the loss of Gaserlake. K2323 and Gaserlake had become great friends over the past while. He had been able to confide in Gaserlake, to tell Gaserlake his secrets. In many ways, Gaserlake was his only true friend. With Gaserlake dead, K2323 was alone once more. Now, he didn't even have family to back him up.
There were so many deaths. His wife, how he loved her so, had been murdered. Konjan and the Guardians were dead. Now, their brothers, the Aralangs, were dead as well. Koty was dead. Era was dead. K2323's son, Kaleb, was dead ? K2323 had heard of his death from Ju some years ago. Ah, yes.. Ju was dead as well.
Xanacore, K2323's general and once faithful friend. Emily, a bittersweet love that was never meant to be, and later a friend who K2323 had relied on. Purple, while at times K2323's enemy, a great man who served his sister. Mia, K2323's other leading general, and a very sweet, young woman. Ino, a cute, young apprentice of Hikaru.
Atlantis was destroyed. Angelina was dead. Derek was dead. Eric was dead. The Sentiniel had been destroyed.
K2323 didn't know if all of them were dead. Some were probably still alive and well. It didn't matter. So much death had been caused over the years. K2323 wanted to know why. Why had they been chosen to live this life, to watch the death, and yet to be powerless to stop it?
He wanted to know why so many people had died.
So, there he was. The throne room of the Era Village's Keeper Palace. He walked across the throne room, tears rolling down his face as he yelled out to the empty room, ?WHY!? I WANT TO KNOW WHY. WHY HAVE YOU CAUSED ALL THIS PAIN AND SUFFERING!? WHAT DID WE EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS!??
Silence.
?ANSWER ME! PLEASE!?
?You blame me,? a voice stated, not as a question.
On the center throne, the avatar of the Genesis King ? the part of him that was not locked inside the souls of the Sage Three ? appeared, glancing at K2323 with loving eyes.
?I deserve an answer,? K2323 replied, dropping to his knees, captivated by his tears.
?You know as well as anyone,? the Genesis King replied, ?That I'm not to blame for these countless deaths. I spent my lifetime trying to stop them.?
?Then.. Then who?? K2323 asked, confused.
?I think you already know the answer to that,? the Genesis King replied.
?H.. How do I stop him??
?I'm sure that you already know the answer to that, too.?
K2323 gulped, nodding. He knew exactly what the Genesis King was speaking of, and he knew that this had been coming. There was nothing more he could do now but go through with it. He had to. For all those who had died, he had to. That was the only way.
?Go, young Kaleb Tyris. Go, and change fate,? the Genesis King said.
K2323 nodded, bowing before the Genesis King before vanishing in a bright flash of light.
He was off to defeat Plex.
