The Road to Salvation
« on: March 06, 2010, 12:54:43 AM »
Far above a Relorian ship, beyond sensor range, drifts a single spherical barrier, a soft opaque purple in hue. Within it is a woman, brown hair spilling out behind her as she crouches in the small sphere of constantly recycling atmosphere. Her power seems to cause the nearby vacuum to shimmer, and small flakes of purple fall from her barrier, forming a rain of purple petals to fall upon the ship. "And so, their salvation and rebirth begins. Through their actions, existence itself will be altered, and a ghost shall rest in peace. It seems that they cannot complete their dream alone, and so I must help.

This tournament shall be a very interesting one, and far beyond anything this existence has ever seen, and I can only hope it will never bear witness to it again." Her twin voices call out into the depths of space, her eyes focused on the tiny pinprick of light that is the Nilus.

"Theirs, will be a light even brighter than God himself." She proclaims, closing her eyes and slowly fading away, her barrier disintegrating into thousands of purple petals.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.
