James looked at the commander and said to him. "I sense a barrier in front of us, something to do with temporal energies. My advisement would be to teleport AROUND said barrier, or to make a series of portals that go under said barrier, thus avoiding contact with it." James readied his sword and uttered another chant this time causing a great door way to appear in front of himself and the soldiers that he was assigned to work with. The door would be a portal, but would lead around the barrier that Jay had made which should provide a challenge for Lucas when the battle started.

Lucas merely nodded at Jay, and then touched the cape. A single pulse of magic would send the cape back to Jay so that he would have it at least. Lucas did not need it to commemorate him, but a plaque later and a statue would suffice. To the end he would fight against these soldiers and so would the Magi-Androids that he had summoned. Each of the blades swirled around him, ready to be used within a moment and to handle the threat of the enemies.
