Somethign strange happened the moment Caliph announced in a memo that he was taking a leave of absence to attend a tournament. Not a single Wayword ship was left on Autumvania, most of the Marid seemed to have vanished. Those who remained were those closest to Caliph himself, or those who had the greatest connection to the locals.
It was as if, Autumvania was no longer the central location of Wayword political military power. A memo was sent to the Tower, stating that those remaining on Autumvania were no longer considered part of the Wayword, and were discharged from services... the memo was signed... by General Kuun.
