After the events above Setus Prime had come to a close, the Conquesting Fleet once more returned to the planet Violet. The Mechera had kept their eye upon this world in part because of its location in the Milky Way galaxy, making it a important strategic foothold, but also because of its natural beauty. The Fortress Class ship sent out a variety of construction ships, mostly fighter and corvette, as well as fewer, but still many, frigate-class ships carrying construction supplies. Except...While they entered the planet's atmosphere, they never touched ground. The Frigates Carrying the supplies themselves were slowly converted to massive, open-air, flying cities that never touched ground. Supported with the same anti-gravity devices that kept certain Aegis Contingents flying, except on a larger scale, these flying cities would dot the skies of Violet, and allow people to live upon this planet, without despoiling its natural beauty. Of course, these cities would be weaponized, and contain full battalions of Aegis Contingents. When you've got flying cities, you need the extra protection in case of saboteurs, after all.
In orbit around the planet, several space stations were also constructed, for both defensive and commercial purposes. These would be the trade hubs and warning systems in case of attack upon the planet, and allow them to regulate who went on-world, and to where. Expeditions onto the planet would of course be allowed, but the Mechera, for whatever their reasons, wanted to allow the nature on-world to stay, well, natural, and the cities off the ground.
