One of the ships after having the crew replaced along with the Captain on Setus Prime headed towards the world of Zaned. This world would be examined and if it was found to be uninhabited, it would then be sent down scientists and prefab shelters and a small military band to protect the scientists. Once the planet had been checked for anything that could REMOTELY hurt the Narrikians and came back negative only then would the people settle down on the planet. So the lone ship began a seven hour scan. Life signs, magical signatures, technology and the works would be scanned for. Probes would also be released to do closer to the surface scanning just to verify the results.

The probes would be shot out of the atmosphere by the Zarethians, who were indeed there and thriving, along with all the civilians from the False Heaven incident. In fact, planetary shields were up and several ships appeared out of warp holes alongside the new vessel and immediately asked for its recognition codes.

[Zero]

When the ship was asked for the recognition codes, it did not reply for several minutes. The crew once more scurried about and emailed Celso. Upon getting a response about how to handle this they would broadcast an old code that had once been used by the Narrikians. The recognition code also had a series of new numbers signifying there was a new emperor in charge of this ship and the crew and captain. The ship once it?s crew detected life signs and everything would have a course programmed. Setus Prime would be returned to once more for new orders once they finished up here. A voice file would be sent to each of the Zarethian ships, but spoken in a dialect of Narrikian they had never heard or learned to understand.

 

A single message would come to each of the ships. "Is this planet inhabited?"

A sharp message from the lead ship, its hull painted black and red came along the comm lines from a very annoyed sounding Zarethian. "Noooooo, its not inhabited at aaaaaaaaaaaaaalllll! I mean, we're just out here in the middle of nowhere arresting random people! Yes its inhabited! Who are you?"

[Zero]

"Primary designation, First Exploratory Fleet. Mission, scout unoccupied worlds and send down research teams to acquire plant, animal and mineral and water samples for analysis. First ship of the Neo Narrikian Empire, Mourning Heart."

This message would be sent back to the Zarethian ships and then the ship would ready hyperdrive. The ship began to charge up the engines to make the jump.

"Previous orders invalidated. New command, return to Setus Prime for immediate re-assignment."

The Zarethian ships flashed their lights in what, to them, is the equivalent of rolling their eyes, and let the vessel slip away.

The ship immediately took off for hyperspace and left.
