Deep in Deadspace, the uncharted, empty spaces between and past the galaxies of the universe, a large asteroid roughly ten miles diameter sits spinning slowly, a low-signature barrier hold in an atmosphere against the flat surface. Here a class was being held amongst the rock and ice, young men and women standing bare before their instructor, who stands similarly bare in the cold. He stood just over six feet tall, him and his students all covered in sweat. "Now that we have warmed our bodies and Weaves, it is time for you all, my brightest disciples, to learn the newest technique I have discovered. Open your Weaves, your minds, your spirits. Look within yourself, find the center of your Spirit, where your Spirit energy is made. There, you see a new source of power. The link between the worlds of the Living and the Spirits. That energy, is called Animorra by the Ancients. That is the energy that our spirits take from the Astral planes, and convert into the useable Spirit Energy you're all familiar with. This energy is powerful, mysterious, and unpredictable. It has a place in everything that exists in this world, natural things having far higher concentrations of it than the artificial. This energy can be used to fuse with the energy we Sierrensa use, temporarily fusing with our bodies and making us far, far more powerful than we would otherwise be." He says, arms out wide as the new energy begins to gather about him, shimmering in the air. He smiles at them all, pulling the energy into his body, into his Weave. Soon his body seems to pulse, his brilliant blue eyes widening as he gasps, more energy filling him through his breath. The students look on in awe, having not heard of anyone using the Astral's energy like this.
Within moments they could hear bone shifting, muscles rearranging and the sparks of powerful energies surging within him, his skin growing and turning a dark, stone-like color. He yells out, a long, feathered spear forming in his hand as large rosary beads, nearly half a foot in diameter, form floating around his neck and waist, large crackling blue sigils floating behind him. He stands before them once more, now nearly fifteen feet tall, eyes closed. His eyes open, the same brilliant, shining blue.
