Sneak
« on: April 16, 2012, 03:08:22 PM »
Secretly, a ship coated with technology purloined by Will from the Neo Narrikian Empire, the stealth coating that had been provided by Logan would also have anti radar defenses around it in the form of a barrier. AAM generators on board the ship would also be online. Approaching one of the medium-high security prisons belonging to the Mechera that housed spare pirates, Will decided he needed a new band. Good thing he had plenty of credits. So now he approached the prison and sent out a covert transmission that was made untraceable due to a lot of heavy encryption software.

Mechera. This is the Dance of Dawn. Here to discuss something with your warden.

[Dance of Dawn, we cannot locate you as right now. Is this some kind of prank call? Make yourself noticeable, or we will be forced to send a scout squadron to ascertain your location to arrest you.] Was the response gotten from the prison, whose radar/whateveranalog systems were unable to detect the unknown ship.

(I would like to point out that Hawkeye's Stealth Systems only prevent radars and computers from picking him up. But in fact if you look out the window you can still see his ship.)

(The Mechera technically are computers, and would rely on technological means of view rather than looking out of the window when coordinating spacial traffic, due to the greater ease the can move through cyberspace and manipulate data within rather than using their mechanical bodies for Real Space. I do get what ya mean, its just it amounts to the same thing though. :o)

(To quote Mass Effect: "They're Geth Mechera. They don't need windows.")

It is in these lonesome times that we reach towards the light sublime
And from that light we pull the resolution of our time
To begin the end and start anew

On board the Dance of Dawn Will Atlas considered his options. Option one was to make himself visible. This would likely lead to trouble, but he had won enough credits through games to use them. So now all he had to do was push the button and he did, his ship uncloaking for a moment. It then would send another transmission to the Mechera.

May I speak with your Warden about a financial arrangement for your prison?

(Thats funny. The whole idea of suppressing the radiation ships give off to make themselves sensor invisible was from mass effect. The method wasn't the same but the idea of it was.)

(Funnier still, the Mechera are aesthetically based off the Geth, so at least as far as their normal bodies go, that's what they look like. :D)

[Roger, found you. You'll be docking into bay six, the closest to the Warden's office. You...Ah...May want the money with you when you disembark.] The response came, almost with familiarity in the voice as to what was going on. As though it wasn't uncommon at all...

Will would nod, and dock at the requested docking bay. Twelve grunts, hired security from one of the various mercenaries would accompany William out of the ship and into the prison. For he was here with the money to do a simple task. One that he would kick himself later for. In order to find Rychart, he needed a band of pirates that could hold their own. These rent-a-soldiers were not good enough for his purposes. And to put it bluntly, he did need a new command center anyway so a band of pirates would be useful in helping him take a base for himself. Finally, he would approach the office of the warden alone, and with the money in hand.  "So my arrangement is simple. I want to pay for the release of not one, but thirty of the space pirates here. The reasons are my own. Suffice to say, that with recent events I find myself needing the services of pirates. They will be turned into Privateers, working for me however and will not trouble the Mechera." Will composed this line in his mind before walking into the office of the Warden.

"So...I here that you are in the need of a bit of...'Protection', and dont wanna go through the trouble of backchecks and decided to go straight to a prison." The warden said, not facing him. "It is a rather...Good idea as far as ensuring they've got expertise in the ways of war. If this is so...Make me a offer."

"50,000 credits up front. And this is just to let me choose out the ones that I will be taking. 100,000 credits once they help me locate someone and drag him back to where said person is supposed to be. After that, you will get 50,000 more credits and the people back. " As Will said this he pulled out the cred card he had looted off of Ken without Ken realizing it. It was an old account sure, but it had plenty enough credits to get the job done. And Will had plans that needed pirates that could hold their own anyway against certain threats now. Soon he would change his look and improve on his garments and what not.

"That kind of cash, eh? Most people dont care enough to bring 'em back, either...Hnnn...Deal. You get twelve prisoners for that kinda cash. Here's a access card to the cells. Oh and, uh, stay on this wing of the facility. Prisoners over here haven't made their Testing Rounds in a while, heh heh heh...They'll be a lot less weakened by the testing those madmen scientists do to 'em. Plus, they ain't really in on this whole jig I've got going...They find out, we're BOTH in trouble, ya got that?"

Will would nod at the Mechera, and then formulate a quick plan in his head. Twelve pirates would be a good start and later he could amass followers from other worlds. From there, he could assemble an army of pirates and take the Galaxy by storm. The matter would have to be done carefully of course and so he asked the Warden after a few moments. "Which of them would you recommend as the best candidates?"

Will would walk over to one of the cells. In the cell he had looked at, there was someone who was a specialist in terms of melee combat. This would allow him to choose someone who could specialize in a certain type of combat. There would be others that could be gathered as well. So Will thought about it and said to the Warden. "This one for a close quarters combat expert." The guy had several crimes including using illegal weapons, and totally destroying several Mechera bodies, but had not been experimented on yet.
