Strike a pose, Swing that step, Hit a Chord!

There was something intoxicating about standing on a mountain. Things that looked large and foreboding, like the skyscrapers in the valley below, suddenly looked fragile and precious, like you could crush it with the swat of your hand. The air was thinner up here, but Brio's lungs adjusted.

Oh yes, Brio Subito. Forgotten by the rest of the universe for quit some time. He had spent the last several months in an isolated state, going through what could be described as "AA for powerful mages". And now, he was sober. And it felt good! The only stimulation he needed was this buzz from being on the mountain, the wind rushing through his hair, and the saxophone in his hand. It reflected the sunlight powerfully, a scintillatingly beautiful sight. But this, above all, was the best part of being sober. He grinned to himself, and put his lips to the horn.

The note he played would only be heard by the best musicians universe wide, and most of them wouldn't know what to think of it. Except, for the scattered members of the Magnificent Mages. They would know instantly what it meant. He held the note for an inhuman amount of time, and it continued to play across the universe.

Mezzo was, in fact halfway across the galaxy when he heard it, waiting in his hotel room for...Well, he was mostly just chilling there, he had a performance coming up but it was a few weeks away. As soon as he heard that note, though, he was fairly certain he'd have to cancel. He pulled out Melodia, tuned the guitar for a moment, before striking a chord.
And their suddenly, he was there, Melodia in hand and a smile on his face. "So, Brio...How 've the days been going by?"

Brio released the saxophone, but it stayed hovering in the air, and the continued to ring out.
"Mezzo! My friend, it has been far too long." He embraced the guitarist warmly.

There was a man in the distance holding a nicely crafted violin. It had the telltale markings of a Stradivarius. The man himself was wearing a black suit with a red shirt and tie. His hair was slicked back, and was jet black.



This man was Antonio Stradivari, and he was slowly approaching the 2 men.

Brio observed the man curiously, and looked back to his friend.
"Mezzo, who is this? That's not Canon."

Mezzo frowned, before saying,"I must say, I'm unsure my friend. I've never seen this man before in my life." As he said this, Melodia tugged at his spirit, warning him against the entity.
"Something isn't right about him...He reeks of evil. Keep away from him, Mezzo." The spirit entrapped within his guitar said, her voice echoing inside his mind. He heeded her advice, standing wary of the new person.

The man approached them and grinned. "I am Antonio Stradivarius... I hear that you all are the best musicians in the plane." He said as he switches his violin to his left hand. "Yes.. the best indeed." He nods to Mezzo's guitar.

"Chopin, I can never get rid of you." He laughed.

Sal the Sax emitted a disapproving sting, but Brio ignored her for a second, instead greeting the man with a handshake.
"Damn right. We've never played a venue that wasn't sold out."

[Orga the Strange]

Canon appeared out of nowhere standing next to Mezzo, reeking of whiskey and gunpowder, coughing. "Aw man, that was some crazy shit back  there. I hope that Goran feller makes it out okay."
"I'm sure he'll be fi- Oh...something seems...familiar..." Nocturne said as Canon turned towards Mezzo. "Shoot boy, where the hell you been?!" He says in surprise and joy before catching sight of Stradivarius and his violin. "Hey now, what's all this? Y'all ain't replacin' me is ya?"

Aldo was playing on the street side of Earth, taking in the sight and feel of the K Empire's base there. Suddenly a feeling, a longing struck him and he somehow knew where to go. "Hold on, cool cat's.." he muttered, appearing along with them.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeey!" He shouted, laughing boisterously. "Hoooow have you allll beeen? Long time, no tune!"

"Canon! I was hoping you'd come! No, not at all. This gentleman just happened to join us. He could hear the Gathering Note, he must be a good musician himself."

Upon Aldo's arrival, Brio cheered and greeted him with a hearty embrace.
"I was worried you wouldn't come, Aldo. It's been over 8 years..."

Aldo chuckled and embraced his longtime bandmate. "Its been waaay too long, Brio. But its just another time for us to striiiike up a tuune." he grinned.
