And they thought the Anrufe was dead.
Sure, their fleet had been destroyed (with the exception of their titan, which, at the moment, did little good seeing as it was a MagiShip), much of their Level 4 Soldiers had been wiped out, Jikore was dead, Red Zero was a POW, and the rest of the Anrufe leadership had serious injuries. It had been a majorly bad judgement call to attack the Mechera. But it had been made. And that was done.
So, now the Anrufe moved forward. In the last few days, the Anrufe had destroyed two planets, conquered a space station (and busted an operation to disrupt Anrufe activities), and was still going. Fort Cloud was wide awake. Deep underground on the planet, Level 4 Soldiers moved through various corridors, preparing for various deployments. The R&D lab was fast at work working on new technology. Tactical was analyzing all incoming information from the invasions and destruction of nearby planets. And most importantly, on the planet surface, there was work being done on a brand new generation of Anrufe starships.
Things were looking up for the Anrufe after all.
