Dance with the Dead
« on: October 04, 2012, 10:33:59 PM »
Bone "looked" upward in the gloomy, fogged over, weather. "Remember? This was exactly three years when we died."She asked.

Marrow stalks around"Yes, it is. And every day since, our flesh is slowly rotting out."

Bone "glaces" at Marrow"Ah, it's a shame necromancers are almost always secretive beings. It'd be nice to share tricks and stories of how our magic was used."

Marrow nods"Let's start to practice now."

Their tones were monotonous, with an air of mystery hanging around them. They sat across from each other and started to chant. Runes glowed around them in shades of purple and then the two got up and started to walk in a trance-like state. The runes followed, more glows whisping around. They were searching for a body to play with. Nothin special, just some mischief has to be made to make things interesting.

There were many bodies on the planet, some corpses, some zombies. Some alive, some undead. In either case they would be seen and passed by many beings, both alive and Undead. Even within the ranks of the Undead was division, for many were unintelligent corpses resurrected as servants, others thinking immortal abominations. While the two undead dragons were eyed by many of the intelligent beings here, many no doubt thinking of exerting some control over them(they were Dragons after all, no doubt very powerful), no overt attempts were yet made, in part due to the runes and in part because these more villainous Necromancers planning on binding the two to their will were also quite cowardly, fearing the retribution of the two dragons should their bindings fail.
In any case, nearby a small, baby Dracolich crawled along, its skeletal body creaking very slightly as it wandered and explored the area not far from its mistress.

Marrow paused and glared at the necromancers around, jaw cracking and whisps glowing from her socket."Dear sister, do you not see another undead like our own?"

Bone glanced over at the dracolich, neck popping around. "How interesting for it to be with a human. Then again, we're searching for servents of our own, no?"

Marrow nods and paws at the ground, a couple skeletons rising. "This planet's full of undead humanoids here. They'll prove some use for a bit." Bone glances at the skeletons distastefully."We'll play with their structure later to make them..... Inhuman"

The two dragons stride towards the dracolich, the skeleton servants behind them and awaiting orders. Their tails clicked and rattled, skin peeling slowly and muscles rippling beneath or out in the open. "Ugh, how I do wish that my own flesh would stop being so sickenning to look at"Marrow complains.

The little dracolich looked at them inquisitively, not quite comprehending them. Or maybe not understanding what they were. Either way, it flapped its wings and used them to hop onto a nearby wall to be higher up and get a better look at the two. His own bones moved fluidly, as if there was something 'greasing' them, despite that he had no flesh whatsoever rot was unseen from his bones, which in fact appeared almost polished. He simply looks at them for a few seconds before happily screeching at them and mentally alerting his mistress. The blue haired Necromantress quickly walked from where she was, followed by three zombies(all carrying shopping bags, of course), to the little Dracolich, asking,"Hm? What're you calling me to see, Dre-," she stops mid-sentence, looking at the other draconic Undead. She studies them intently, almost as though she was seeing beyond their corporeal form and at the spells keeping them...Well, unalive. As she studied them, her crimson eyes misted purple for a few moments before she blinks, shaking her head and saying,"Oh, sorry, where are my manners? Im Lauren, and this is Dread. How do the two of you do?"

Bone stopped and glanced at the necromancer. "I'm called bone and my twin sister is called Marrow. Mar--"

Marrow runs up to the dracolich and looks him over. She glances at Lauren"So.... You revived him huh? I always thought dragons were of a higher power... I guess that means you're a strong necromancer?"

Bone hissed"Marrow mind your manners... But yes, it's very difficult to revive a dragon... Humans are so much easier."

The two looked at lauren curiously, sockets filled with thin wisps.

Marrow sits down"Do tell more about yourself Lauren."
