Character Name:Virus
Age:25ish
Gender:Male
Race:Human, infected with a Real-Data Virus
Appearance:
Alliance:Not applicable.
Personality:Virus was once a pretty normal and quite sane guy, a treasure hunter of sorts. Then the Reality Virus installed itself into him, rewriting a lot of who and what he was. He still searches for treasures and riches, but what he considers to BE those are a lot different from what others would consider to be riches and treasures. As well, he is almost completely obsessed with finding the sixth encryption key, which he DOES know for a fact exists, and the security cipher, which he does NOT know if it exists. The reason for this is because the Reality Virus, while not intelligent except on a primal level, WANTS to be complete and is influencing him on a mental level to seek out its missing components. The power it'll bring him doesn't hurt either, of course.
Inventory (Weapons, Equipment, Etc): He has a few Real Data codes installed into him besides the Reality Virus, though these dont have a agenda themselves. They're just cybertools, though, things for hacking lowlevel systems, and Real Data tools to be Projected of he needs them(like a ladder, for instance). As current, he doesn't have any very advanced Real Data tools, so its just simple tools that he can project like ladders or a wrench or a hammer. Nothing quite so complex as a Gun.
Combat Level (Average of magic level and physical strength. If you don't know what to do here, don't fill it out and the staff will help you.):
- Magic  Level:0
- Physical Strength:3
Alright, here is what he can do with the Reality Virus and a bit of explanation on it. The Reality Virus is a extremely powerful Real Data Virus. While most RD Viruses are able to convert physical objects into Real Data so they can infect them(hell, even non-malignant RD Codes can do that to install the code into certain physical objects), the Reality Virus didn't stop there. After infecting Virus, it kept this capability of turning real things into data, and has the capability to lash out at these things to alter them before everything reverts to reality than a Real Data Space. Things altered in this manner WILL keep these changed properties even after the area returns to normal. However. Virus' power is restricted by six levels of security on the codes(or it would be if he had the sixth piece of the Virus' programming, because he doesn't yet have it there's only five levels of security). These securities prevent him from decompressing and decrypting the Reality Virus' data at will, and unless its decompressed and decrypted the Virus lies mostly dormant. The security programs constantly moniter his surroundings for danger, and will only allow him to use a appropriate level of coding for the danger he's in. Therefor, if Virus is walking along the street, the security will make him at Decompression Level 0, or normalcy. If a explosion went off in a nearby building, though, and there was rubble headed for him, the programs would lift the security up to Decompression Level 2, allowing him to Glitch out of harms way. Appropriate power for appropriate danger.
The Security Cipher he is looking for(which may or may not actually exist), however, is a special bit of Real Data code designed to completely remove tge influence of these security programs. IF he were to find it, he would be able to use his powers completely unrestricted and unrestrained.
Decompression Level 0:Normalcy. The only ability of the Reality Virus he can access in this state is Projection of Real Data, making it essentially a overly intricate Hammerspace bag in this level.
Decompression Level 1:First layer of the Virus is decompressed and decrypted. In this level, he is able to begin Programming. This is his ability to program new things into the area around him, though he cannot yet alter things. This power increases with his Decompression Level, and while he can mostly only program basic attacks or attachments to things at this Decompression level, at higher levels his programming becomes more intricate and advanced.
Decompression Level 2:This level of decompression is where the Virus' ability to turn other things into Real Data is accessed, and at this level of Decompression or higher the Reality Virus automatically turns everything around it(the radius increases with Decompression level, effectively also increasing his range) into Real Data(hereafter, any area this is done to is called 'Reala Data Space'. Only specifying to avoid confusion). While THIS has no adverse affects to anything, it allows him to utalize his other powers TO affect things. This level ALSO grants access to Glitching and Crashing. Glitching is when he forces a error in a Real Data Space in regards to the location of a given object by feeding it a new location within the space. The RDS resolves this conflict(two locations one object?) by deleting the original location data for the object, effectively moving that object instantly, but only within the RDS' range. It should be noted that Glitching DOES work by forcing a bug in the area, and overuse begins to corrupt the RDS, leading to patches of static and 'glitchy blocks' appearing in both the use of the ability and eventually just in the space itself. After the space is returned to normal, reality will begin to fix itself, but its a slow process. Crashing is a ability where he forces a error in any Real Data construct(which, because of this Decompression Level, is basically anything around him). Crashing is useful because it wrecks things and corrupts the data making up things he needs inoperable. It should be noted that Crashing is temporary as the forced error will eventually resolve itself, and is best used to incapacitate something or someone before they can harm him. Also, while Glitching harms RDS, Crashing corrupts whatever its used on. While the corruption is also temporary, repeated use of Crashing on something before the Corruption is fixed can become debilitating, and the more corrupted something's code is the easier it is for his power to affect them.
Decompression Level 3:Corrupting and Repairing. Simply put, at this Decompression Level, he can spread corruption through Real Data or repair it as he sees fit, though at this Decompression Level he must make contact with something to do either. Why would he want to repair Corruption, you ask? Well, Corruption in this case DOES refer to the breakdown of Real Data, which can cause adverse effects in its own right. Lets say he needs to cross a bridge to escape something, but its data has become too corrupt to maintain a stable form. He is able to repair the bridge and then make his way across. This does take time, however, both repairing and corrupting, and while at higher levels he is able to repair or corrupt something from a distance its always faster if he has contact with something.
Decompression Level 4:Deletion. With this level of Decompression, he gains the ability to erase things in the world(or at least RDS) around him. All things have some form of data protection, however, the leftover from reality's law of Conservation of Energy and Mass. The reason its possible in RDS is only because, as everything is Data, nothing is ablecto be destroyed. Just...Freeing up memory.  This is the same reason he can Program, actually, its just there isn't any protection on the nonexistence of something. Because of how Corruption works(breaks down the code of the Real Data), the more Corrupted something is the easier and easier it is to Delete something and the less time it takes.
Decompression Level 5: Hacking. He gains the ability to rewrite code around him, altering and modifying it to his own needs. He can modify the code of anything around him, including living things, and can infect things with Real Data Viruses(not the Reality Virus) to further harm and hamper their advancement. It is of note that these changes do carry over after things are changed from RDS back to normal space, and while many of them ARE possible to revert, the effects of Hacking will not regress on their own. Also, it DOES take time to hack something, and as with Deletion the protection coding everything has does play a part in his ability to Hack something(so more corrupt, easier it is to Hack).
Decompression Level 6(He does not have this one yet):The Administration is his greatest ability possible. In this state he can freely write, delete, and alter code to his whim. He can spread corruption or remove it almost instantly. Because of how powerful this form is, though, it is reserved only for Events or if he faces another level 6, even IF he finds the Security Cipher.

Swift, we dont have a limit to the amount of time something may be a WIP. I haven't finished it yet because I haven't found the time and I haven't scrapped it because I dont scrap things. I'll finish it when I can, until then its honestly fine as is.

I'm bumping like this to remind the user about something they may have forgotten. That and I was cleaning the request forums again.

*shrugs*
You dont need to tell them to 'finish or scrap', just ask if this is going to be finished or not. If that was your intent, my apologies, however the way you phrased it did make it look like you were telling me to, not reminding me about it.

I put "bump" for a reason, dummy. :P

Anywho, this is just a bump and my lazy ass way of asking to finish or scrap or do something. It hasn't had any action in over "120" days before I bumped it.
