It didn't take long for the Spirits to rally, and, as was customary, the Great Enforcer and Grand Revoker united their forces to bring a swift end to the problem. Their agents swept the planet, using search and destroy strategies. For the most part, each faction stayed with their own forces and stayed out of each others way, though Owl Sages were employed by both sides to hunt down the hordes. The Will o' Wisp Lord mobilized his forces in awesome sight, they swept over the land in fog and flickering lights. The Karmagans themselves rose up with well-crafted, enchanted weapons, their mages striking back at the hordes. Effectively, the villages were defending themselves and the three major spiritual factions divided and conquered the hordes.
