A Daughter's Role
« on: December 04, 2012, 05:34:48 PM »
By the end of the hour, the three Narrikians were waiting patiently in a conference room in the palace. After quite some time, Elizabeth Tyris slipped into the room, a smile on her young face as she courtesied to the Narrikian guests slightly.
"My guests," she greeted them sweetly, "I hope you don't mind a woman doing business with you today. My father's busy at the moment. However; I assure you, I am more than capable of meeting your needs."

Silas looked at Elizabeth and bowed slightly, showing her respect.  "Alright. Let's get down to business Elizabeth Tyris... We have chosen you as a member of the Shadow Squad. Our goal is to hit the Anrufe with Guerilla Warfare, to raise up resistances from within their own ranks to hammer them. In short, legally according to Narrikian law we don't exist. Should you choose to join us you will need a cover job. Your skills at medical knowhow, and weaponry will be tested because you have skills that could be of use to us. Nicholas over there can bypass the AM Fields thanks to a certain weapon inside of his body. Jeff here is our mobile transport expert and we are still lacking two members of our squad in addition to you. Should you choose to not join, I will wipe your memory of this encounter and you will forget the offer was ever on the table. So are you in or are you out?"

Nicholas and Jeff remained silent.

OOC: You don't know about Fort Cloud.

A bit taken aback by the sudden offer, Elizabeth listened calmly, taking the MWCA and looking it over before carefully replying, "The Anrufe, huh? You need a medical sage? My father would never approve... Only... I could help you, if we do it carefully and you don't tell my father... I guess. I - I shouldn't, but. Well. There's just one condition, okay, you hear? I... I'll help you if you help me find out where my brother's gone when everything's said and done."

"Very well. In exchange for your help, we shall help you locate your brother once the Anrufe has been destroyed. You will also have to allocate K Empire resources to assist. Your ties as Royalty make you an excellent addition to our side. Come. We must head to Memorial at once to speak with Ryan and plan out who we will next recruit. For there is much work to be done." said Silas. Silas reached out his hand.

"Welcome to my world Ms.Tyris. With our help you will surpass even the Sage Three. "  Silas snapped his fingers and a Wavering Blade appeared in the shape of a katana in front of her. "Take your new weapon. You'll need it. It is Vionix Tech. Feel free to add any wards you want to the blade."

When he said that Jeff opened a Corridor of Light.

Taking the blade, she nodded kindly at the Narrikians before turning to look one last time at the palace, her home. Sighing, she closed her eyes, concentrating. A clone would appear in her bedroom, sleeping peacefully. Nobody would know the difference. With a deep sigh, she stepped through to Memorial. This was rather rash, sure. But it was her only lead. Her father wouldn't inform her about what had happened to Cole, and she was worried -- their last talk had worried her a lot. Cole was... Changing. And she was worried about how her father could react when he was mad.

Silas, Nicholas and Jeff walked through the Corridor...closing it behind her.

It was like they had never been there.
