Gregory Falzone, Leader of the Mechera
« on: June 24, 2010, 06:28:14 PM »
Name: Gregory Falzone
Age: 6,045
Race: Mechera
Alliance: Mechera
Biography: Gregory was a ordinary fighter pilot before the Mechera swapped their bodies, and during the time he was a fighter pilot, their homeworld was in its final war-the country of Landora was fighting a somehow-winning battle against the SuperContinent Country that engulfed the rest of the planet-The super-country of Dekterra. While Dekterra had military might, and had started the war to gain the final country need for total planetary supremacy, the Landora country was much more technologically advanced, and had many more experienced tacticians in their ranks. They had developed a new weapon-the War Blades, named for the main form of attack-a large sword on a arm. They worked by putting the mind of the user into the machine temporarily, then allowing these disposable machine to attack the foes. However, they couldn't very well pilot vehicles, due to having blades for arms. Thats where pilots like Gregory came in. He was the Commanding Officer leading the aerial strike against the Dekterra ground forces. They were also in charge of air-dropping the War Blade weapons onto soft ground. These weapons would then move on treads to get to their foes and slice them into small pieces. As they approached the enemy camp, all that was on his mind was,This is it. We win this, we'll have proved the might of the War Blades, and we might just push back the Dekterra forces. We lose, and we'll have lost the southern front of the enemy's invasion. If that happens, they'll swarm from all sides. Its now or never! The battle was long and gruesome, but the Dekterra ground forces were no match for the War Blades, which sliced their foes down, and rolled right over the corpses. After this battle, War Blades were deployed all over the rest of the borders, and were able to not only push back the enemy, but also take some land of the enemy's! This isn't to say that there weren't lost battles; by all means, the war Blades WERE imperfect, and there weren't War Laws prohibiting nuclear warfare(in fact, this seemed encouraged...), so there was mass-devastation. But the Landoran country was winning all the same. And the Dekterra forces only had so many nukes; they quickly ran out. After three years of fighting, the War Blade-inspired technological weapons were used to march straight to the Capitol of the Dekterra mini-continent. Yes, mini-they were destroyed by this weapon, ans had lost their entire nation to it. The war was over, and the entire planet was united under the Landoran flag. It was around then that the very technology used to win wars was researched for commercial use, and they also had to study organic sciences for this as well. They eventually found that it would be possible for people to completely trade their lowly organic bodies for these, which were by now very close in shape to their other bodies, though not appearance. Six months later, the streets were lined with corpses. But it wasn't a moment of sorrow; this was the time that the entire race traded out their bodies for these. Gregory himself got one of the best models for flying before the end of the war; he always liked it, so they had it remodeled and outfitted to allow him the best possible way of using it. His model has always been the one he's used, though of course with upgrades and tuneups, and maintenance. During the Day of Nova(one of the ways they refer to the day the Supernova engulfed their home planet and two others in the system), Gregory wasn't in the system. He was out on his job, and lived on another planet besides. Still, he was devastated when he learned of it, especially since his role in the war would have meant nothing. For without the actual planet, those former countries no longer existed, simply the Mechera as a race.. He wanted only what was best for his race, and so he went in the elections to prevent many of the very possible Warmongers from attaining the elite rank of leader of the Mechera. He won the election not through cheap gimmicks, nor through slander, but the trust of the people...er, machines, as the case is. Through this all, it was him who led them through their many phases. Even the phase they had the crushing defeat at the hand of their rivals, the Aralangs. He never promised the people anything however, he told the truth-that if they wanted to rebuild, they had to do it on their own, with his aid. He never said anything he couldn't fulfill. He has a heavy burden, that is the rule of a entire people and the memories of his people since they fought that terrible war. But a burden he carries without remorse.
Weapons: He has a Plasma-Claw Arm, and a Blaster Arm with a hand.
Equipment: Not much, other than aesthetics.
Magic Level: He's a machine, so N/A
Appearance: He looks like a Mechera, obviously, but with some notable differences. First, his shoulders have a small bit of the arms going up over; these store extra computer chips for added processing capabilities, though they dont do very much other than that. His head is adorned with spike-like protrusions; apparently the Mechera's version of a crown. His body has a white-with-red-trim color scheme, and his weapon arms are specially adorned with ancient Mechera symbols that depict much of their history; they aren't discernible to anyone but a Mechera about what they mean but other than historical purposes the weapons are supposedly enchanted. Nobody truly believes this, but they do seem to radiate a faint magical signature, though where this may have been gained is unknown. His feet are balls with a three pronged form for toes; the bottom of the toes are flat, and these are what he stands on, not the feet themselves.
