Contract-Kill or Capture Ace...
« on: July 09, 2010, 01:50:42 PM »
At the origin of the transmission at CotS...
The Dark Heart approached the Japae ship that made the transmission. A single transmission was sent-
"We know you have a 'Ace' aboard the ship. We request for him to be placed into our custody immediately, preferably as a captive. If you comply with our demands, he will not be killed, and there will be no chance of harm befalling you. We also request all of his belongings to be given to us as well."
To show they weren't joking, they prepped all weapons systems on board the Dark Heart, and began charging their Lance of Dawn.
"We...Are NOT in the mood for games right now..." Hiro said, not as a transmission. "Damnit, who'd have thought it'd be so hard to track a single person down..."

When the transmission reached the Japae Ship Ace happened to be on the bridge and heard the transmission he freaked out but then regained his composure. Surely this could be dealt with in a way that did not involve his capture right?

Well he did not think that this could be avoided. In a gruff tone of voice that he had never used before he sent a transmission <<Delay for 20 minutes. We are searching currently. Also we are beaming over his possessions as we speak.” A beaming occurred and all of Ace's possessions were transferred over to the dark heart in a chest that had 5 different locks on it along with a barrier woven over it to prevent any but the owner from accessing it.

Next Ace went over to a mannequin he had made earlier in case this had happened and sighed. He took out a small round sphere the same size as a soul organ and transformed it into a duplicate of his own. Next he turned the mannequin into a copy of himself exactly.

Lastly he teleported himself on board of the Dark Heart but with shackles over his hands and everything that could possibly restrain him. He was chained up completely and could not move. He had also sealed his magic.

A few of the Mercs found him aboard their ship, picked him up, and brought him to a nice, cozy room.
They kinda didn't have a prison cell...Eh heh...
It wasn't a richy rich style plush room, by any means, but it was comfortable. After they led him in there, they undid the restraints, and quickly shoved him inside to get him off balance so they could shut the door without fear of him getting out.
In any case, they just led him there, and had the room lock. There wasn't a computer or anything, but there was a TV, with a couple of movies. And a meal was teleported in:A nice terran cheeseburger, with salty fries and ketchup, mayo, and mustard. For a drink, they teleported in a couple cans of Mountain Dew and Root Beer, in case he didn't like one of the soft drinks. The burger itself was made by Flora herself.
A small PDA-like object was also teleported in, with a note. The note said,'Its gonna be a bit of a long trip, so if ya get hungry, just type in something you'd like to have out of the list of items. We dont got anything like caviar, but the stuffs not gonna be terrible.'

He would not try to escape since they had been kind enough to let him live. However he would need to ensure that at least one of them did not leave without the knowledge of how to perform Essence. Leaving that power in the hands of the Anrufe  was a bad idea but he himself could not handle Assassin. Seeing the PDA he came up with a plan. True it would be a long trip but the longer the better. That would give him more chances to order the Japae to contact the Organization and to have Justin pull him from this ship.

He didn't eat the chesse burger but rather first made sure it had absolutely no poisons or sedatives in it. After verifying that he made the ketchup, mustard and pickles leave the burger by using magic to open a small hole near one of the trash cans and levitating the stuff he did not want off of it.

Ace attempted to use the PDA to hack into their transmission system and send a transmission after eating and drinking to the Japae so that they would go warn the Organization and prepare them for the mass death that would happen should he die within this ship. After his hacking failed he looked at the list and decided that he would rather eat after this burger something a bit easier for his body.

He sent them a message telling them to send in the chef as he wishes to talk with her. He would tell her directly rather than use this infernal contraption which could not eaven contact his Japae ship.

“When he or she gets in here I am going to have a long talk with that person, a very long talk indeed.”

The TV turned on in response to that, with Flora on the screen. A few small flowers had sprouted from her oddly blue hair already, which she didn't seem to notice. She had a smile on her face, and said,"You wanted to talk?"

He nodded and said "Why don't you come inside here in person? It would be much easier for me to talk to you about what I am going to talk to you about if you are in here rather than hiding behind a camera." His decision had been made, namely that he would train her in what magical techniques he knew before this trip ended.

"Ah, Im sorry, but I wasn't only preparing your meal. Have to finish first before I leave, or else everyone else'll get hungry. Shouldn't take too long, just a few burgers and stuff. Anyway, whats up?" She said, before looking around. She seemed to find whatever it was she was looking for, and used it to season the other burgers, before putting them on a stove-grill-combo thing. Whatever it is that does the same thing as a stove and grill in the future.

"With your permission I would begin instructing you in how to use magic properly rather than sporadically like you currently can use it. Of course in order to do so, I would have to create wards around this room that prevent magic from leaving it, except for my own of course."

"I can sense your magic even from in here. It is untamed. You have not yet tamed the magic that lies within you and bent it to your will. If you want me to, I will help you bind your magic to your own desires so that you can control it fully. " He offered. He was only doing this since he had enjoyed what she had cooked for him.
