Meeting with the Warriors
« on: July 23, 2010, 09:16:25 PM »
It has been years since Logan had been on a planet in known space, though he knew this place was new to him. Everything here was different. This planet hadn't been touch by the war that been the cause of him to lose everything. His thoughts slipped like the shadows of the Darkness. Though he focused on his current task in which he has choosen to face.

He was stopped by one of the Warrior Human Guards and before the Guard could speak Logan had already inflicted his will upon him. The Guard took Logan to Arceis. Once there Logan stood before him glaring at him in wonder with his darken eyes.

"Greetings friend. My name is Logan." Logan greeted Arceis.

(Note Hawkeye already said I could meet with him so that is why I started the topic off like I did...)

"It's not a question of can or can't. There are some things in life you just do."

Arceis looked at Logan. “Greetings Friend. We have a war against the Anrufe to plan and we don't have any ships and they have a massive fleet.” He had a scowl on his face when he said the last part.

“Also they have all but two bodies of the Osmosians, my body being one and Justin Lorrisain, my mentor's body being another. Do you mind helping us with the war against the Anrufe?”

"Your war is unimportant to the Universe." Logan bluntly stated. "Though as it is important to you I can no longer help you. I am weak and broken to that of the warrior I once was. In fact I have come seeking your help and obedience. Your leadership skills are not what caused you to lose so much, it is your vision. But do not worry, for I have that vision in which you'll need. And with my council you can be apart of the great creation that will happen. A perfect Universe in which peace reigns as the true ruler. One where the worlds that were touched by both the Nyx War and the war that has yet to come will be whole as they once were."

He paused for a second and looked right into Arceis' eyes with his darken eyes. Then after a second countinued on. "All I ask is that you obey."

"It's not a question of can or can't. There are some things in life you just do."

Arceis was swayed by the logic of Logan. He would obey him for the time being since the end result would likely be the death of the Anrufe. With them dead he could revive the rest of his people easily and without much trouble.

“I shall obey.” said Arceis with finality. He would get the others who had joined him to obey as well so that he could stand a chance of winning.

"Wow, Logan, quite the rhetoric speaker."

The voice of the speaker would have echoed, and have been all too familiar to Logan Kent. It was the voice of the man who had imprisoned him, destroyed his home and everyone he ever loved or cared about, and completely destroyed all hope the man could ever have. And how Logan Kent had recovered from that, K2323 had no idea. But he was ready to find out. And Magimeta, a neutral ground, was the perfect place to find out.

"Kind of ironic that we meet like this, here and now. It is the dawn of a new war, and you have been born again on this planet  of neutral grounds. The war that led to your death started on neutral ground as well."

K2323 rubbed his hand down a tree, admiring its beauty. "I think introductions are in order. Chal, appear!"

Chal appeared suddenly next to K2323. "Introduce yourself," K2323 commanded.

Chal stepped forward, offering his hand to Logan. "I am Chal. Nice to meet you...?"

Logan looked at the man's hand and then looked up to focus on the young man's eyes.

"Excuse me if I do not reach out to shake your hand for I do not mean it in a form of disrespect. I am old and my body is quite frail to some degree." He turned his attention to the tree hugging K2323. "Yet you seek me and here I stand in front of you. Just like last time, though not in battle. What answers could you possible want from me?"

"It's not a question of can or can't. There are some things in life you just do."

Chal respectively returned to his place by K2323, aware that this man... whoever he was, did not look as old as he said he was, and couldn't possibly be weak to the point where he'd refuse a handshake. Could he? Sighing, Chal observed the scene. Who was this guy, anyway, and how did K2323 know him? It seemed that the two were... enemies?

K2323, who now stepped forward from the treeline towards his rival, merely nodded, observing the scene himself. He observed Arceis curiously, wondering what had been transpiring here. Arceis surely didn't seem to be that powerful, though Chal could sense some kind of non-magical energy flowing strong within him. Who was this guy, anyway? And what was he doing in the woods of Magimeta associating with Logan Kent, who K2323 figured had died by now in that void.

"What answers? I have a ton of questions. I guess I want to know how you got out of that dump I put you in, but that can wait... I just had to come here to confirm it was true. And now that I see you here, alive and well before me, I assure you that you will be killed in cold-blood if need be. You should have stayed in that prison I put you in.... Oh, and another thing. How the hell did you get so strong at magic? I can feel your magic signature, your power is strong indeed."

Arceis watched the exchange and noticing things were getting out of hand removed a piece of metal from his pocket and absorbed the material of it forming an armor over his body. “Hi K2323. Hello person I have never met before.” He said to both Chal and to K2323.

"That is one very good question. Though as we both should know by now, we do not control our limits. And by far our limits are endless. Why my power has grown? It is a matter of you. When you casted me into that Dark Realm you had no idea of the dangers in there. You sought a chance to get rid of your enemy. Though during my time there I became one with the shadows more and more. Thus making me the being that stands before you today at this very moment." Logan said.

"Killing me won't be as easy though. Even in my state I can still travel back to the Dark Realm and regain my power. It is that very Darkness you used to seal me that now serves me."

"It's not a question of can or can't. There are some things in life you just do."

“So Chal, you seem to be a fairly competent magic user although I must say you seem rather drained of your magic currently. How would you like to undergo a mentorship program that would allow you to improve your skills somewhat?” asked Arceis to Chal. He wouldn't offer this very often but Chal might need the training after all.

"No thank you," replied Chal.

"Do you know who created that darkness?" K2323 asked, laughing. "You and your people did. I was a much darker person myself after ten years of searching for my brother, all that time ago. You and your selfish races of technology users.. You all sickened me. You had no idea what true power was, and yet you so easily overpowered me.... I had grown weak with self desire. With darkness.."

K2323 grinned. "So I began to take the darkness which filled me and I casted it into that realm, and the darkness became the realm itself. Everytime I was angered, I casted that darkness away. Every time I was filled with greed, I casted that darkness away. And I bid my tongue, allowing your filthy kind who disgraced life and flat out denied magic to continue living in MY home, in MY universe... And every time I began to loose myself, I casted that darkness into that realm."

He stopped, as if lost in thought, before continuing. "Ah, yes, and then the Nyx Federation came along, long after I 'died' like everyone thought. Of course, I wasn't really dead. If Zirridian survived that battle, that meant I could too. For me, I had lived thousands of years. In reality, seconds of battle had gone on in that time. And a weak me came back to the dimension in hiding, not yet ready to begin my training, and I saw what the Nyx was doing... And it gave me a chance to strike, for I knew if the Nyx won their bloody, violent, senseless war, it would mean that you and your filthy kind would fall."

And finally, K2323 dropped to his knees, laughing like a maniac. Chal reached out his hand towards his senior, but K2323 swatted it away before lifting his head to Logan again, the smile on his face wide as could be. "So, I put you in that hell I had created. And you withstood it. That is great news, because it means I get to battle you, and I get to kill you ten thousand times over, like I've always wanted to do!"

His laugh once more peaked before fading, a scowl now on his face. "But as for your kind... Even after the fall of the Nyx and the Alliance, I've found upon my return to this place that one major power did survive out of your filthy people. The Aralangs. Gaserlake, he was your former general, right? He's their 'elite' leader right now. He's my friend out of the group, but their government is severely divided and must be crushed... That is the only way life in this dimension can begin anew, with all parties accepting the order of life and magic."

"You are a fool to believe that you created that dark place. There are magic and powers that are beyond us both. In the end does it really matter though? Just know that I am standing here as are you. Our fates are once again binded." Logan answered.

"Fate's a funny thing," K2323 said, not realizing how ironic his statement was. "Just know this, Logan Kent. The next time we meet, it will not be on Magimeta. It will be in battle. You go run along and tell your friends in the darkness that, will you?" K2323 said, laughing as he took a step forward, a portal being created to Japae. "Come along, Chal. We're on Magimeta, your services won't be needed."

"Y-yes sir?" Chal replied, following K2323 into his portal which closed behind the two.

He turned to Arceis with a cold dark look. "You will obey. Send all people you have to Industrialia and take it. I don't care how many lifes are lost in the proccess. You will not go yourself though. I want you here."

As Logan finished he turned and walked away leaving Arceis alone.
