Dimension Storm part 4

The fires of the elementals suddenly grew hotter than they ever were used to, the immense heat becoming stronger than ever before. No one besides the elemental fires would likely be able to survive, even on the black rocks until the heat died down.

The Elemental Fires noticed the change, and while it didn't make them any less comfortable, they knew it might affect others. The equivelent to a army they had regulated the tempertures, changing it back to normal until this whatever died down. They also did this to keep relations good with the other continents; a few bad cincers could cause catastrope among those not of Fire. Which would be bad. So they maintained the heat levels at a acceptable level.

However the heat kept increasing as a result of their magic being amplified by the dimensional storm. Therefore the dimensional storm was the problem but yet the elemental fires did not know of what the storm was, why it was happening or how to interrupt it.

...Except thats not what was going on. The Elemental Fires didn't care about this whatever-it-was, the cared about the fire. And they had damn well better control over Fire than any other natural phenomona. The forced the fires to cool, and the planet itself aided them, rejecting the dimensional disturbance. All was well...
