The Elite woke up. With his organs gone he was unlikely to survive very long even if he had his magic back. He noticed all the tools of science around and decided at least he would die honorably. That in mind he decided to use all of his spirit energy since there was not much point in him living.
So he unleashed his spirit energy in a massive blast that would devastate the entire room and kill everyone that was there.
