The Archive had, in recent times, become quite lax...And while their treaty with the Lorcar had not been broken, this meant that their ability to uphold their part of the bargain was impaired. Delton still considered Abel a ally...But he could not just wait by. Lorcar scouts, of the Yellow Jacket, Be, or Bumblebee castes, once again were sent out into the galaxy, in search of targets. A few nameless planets were attacked, and turned into barren wastes, the life stripped from them mercilessly. Those seen to have spacial fleets were left be, for now...But if they had a lot of biomatter, they'd be noted...Their locations, and the number of ships guarding them. They'd be attacked...Though, for a good amount, the defenses looked...Familiar, in design. No matter...The Locusts would still attack, if they wished. But the fact that they were so similar...Where had those ship styles been seen before...This puzzled Delton. And so, he began a project...He'd create a life form, not of the Lorcar, but their predecessors...the Zet. The species who made Delton. This new life wouldn't be a Lorcar, not strictly at least, but it'd follow his command. And...The Zet...Looked nothing, nothing at all, like the Lorcar. Unseen for many ages, Delton doubted that it'd be recognized...But after it'd be made, his prototype would have to be tested. If successful, then he'd have his perfect spies. If not, he could always start from scratch. The trick to this, though, was recalling the particular DNA sequences...Constructing the body of a creature unseen, but not forgotten of(at least, not by him), for centuries...This...Would take time. Once made, he decided, its first task...Find out who the owners of these familiar technological designs were. But alas, that was not for now. For now, the Lorcar waited, biding their time until the return of their terror.
