Sons of Plunder
« on: February 04, 2011, 10:58:22 PM »
Name: Nisorin Lertis
 Age: 28
 Race: Arcana Relorian
 Alliance: Reloria
Biography: Born from Relorian parents, raised alone in the streets of a now destroyed planet, Nisorin quickly discovered his magical heritage, training in it heavily thereafter. At the age of five, he entered into a syndicate known as the Lerithay. His role was running small packages and messages to clients. Trained to keep out of sight, he did this by sticking to the rooftops to do his deliveries, sprinting across buildings and leaping the gaps between them. This, and his dextrous fighting style, earned him both the nickname Skydart and the ire of the local police force. By the time he turned eight, most crime syndicates on the planet had heard of him, and the police gave up on trying to catch him. Instead, rival syndicates would send trained assassins to kill him, polishing his endurance and fighting skills even more.

With the pay leftover from living expenses, he bought books detailing the ancient civilizations and discovered a note regarding Reloria. For several months afterwards, he often offered two methods of payment: money, or useful information regarding the old empire. Within half a year, he had exhausted the resources available to him, and bought a small ship and left the planet.

During his travels amongst planets similar to the one he left, he met Celestie, another agent of a similar group. Teaching her his way of getting around, he spent another three years there, before they both left to found the Sons of Plunder, eventually taking their own galaxy and restoring the ancient Relorian empire. This search led them to liberating the Starclan from its oppressors, fighting several battles with many increasingly interesting foes, and eventually leading a mass migration to a strange megalith located in between this Dimensional Plane and another, a still functioning relic of the Ancient Relorians during their prime.

During his leadership of the liberated Reloria, he and Celestie went through the initial Orias ceremony, following in the culture of some of the greatest leaders in recorded Ancient Relorian times. Since then, they have risen to the fourth stage of the Orion Companionship.

After winning his first match in the Plex Tournament, Nisorin Lertis and his wife Celestie retreated to a pocket dimension of their own creation after calming Nisorin from his near-Avenger mindset, where they performed the Sixth Orias, gaining access to each other's magical abilities, as well as becoming a great deal closer.

During his second match in the Tournament, facing against the Golden Sage Akylos, he started, and completed, his own metamorphosis, marking him as the Third. Standing the tallest of the three, he's now bearing plates on his chest, shoulders, thighs, shins and the back of his hands made from a curious combination of Curicite crystal and bone. Small plates fitting to the shape of lower 8 out of his 10-pack abs provide a decent amount of protection from blunt attacks.
Weapons: Two swords, twin Terra, Arcana magic, highly advanced, out-of-body Sierrensa techniques
Equipment: AAM Necklace, 30 throwing knives hidden across his body, plate mail covering a scale mail hauberk with quarter-inch diameter scales, shield-like abnormality on his right arm that can enlarge to the size of an average kite shield.
 Magic Level: 5.5
 Force Level: 0
Appearance: Now standing well over ten feet tall, Nisorin is the tallest of the three Relorians who've gone through with their metamorphosis. His skin, once slightly pale, is now a silvery blue, devoid of the scales typical to the metamorphosed Relorians. Tattoos, formed through bits from the crystalline sphere he was encased in, stretch over his right eye and chest.

He has a small abnormality on his right arm. Just behind his wrist, a strange bone perpendicular to the rest of his forearm sticks out from either side, almost like a tiny shield.

 Name: Celestie Lertis
 Age: 28
 Race: Relorian
 Alliance: Reloria
Biography: Born and raised on one of the scummiest planets, she was inducted into a crime syndicate at the age of three, initially working in the kitchens until they saw the combat potential she had. Her naturally lithe body and quick movements made her a natural choice for a message runner. Even more so when, at the age of 14, Nisorin came along and showed her his mode of transportation.

When they left at the age of 17 to form the Sons of Plunder, she started noticing that whenever Nisorin was in danger, she'd fight harder, move faster, and her magic would be stronger the closer she was to him. Comparing this to the stories Nisorin had told her of the magnificent warriors of the original Reloria, she decided that she herself was a Guardian candidate, as Nisorin was. This was confirmed the first time Nisorin took a hit that nearly killed him. Celestie went berserk, slaughtering those around Nisorin. When the Relorian Empire was created, she became one of the Four, the four most elite of the Relorian warriors, ranking second only to Nisorin himself. They actually performed the initial Orias ritual just before the taking of the Starclan, becoming the first Guardian couple in several thousand years.

Since their migration from the Galactic Empires plane, they have studied up on many different ancient Relorian technologies and magical techniques, vastly increasing their own Empire's level of technology. Their magical abilities have strengthened a great deal, and through the myriad of conflicts they went through in getting to the station, their fighting skills have improved as well.

With the end of the first match of the Plex Tournament, Celestie had to endanger herself to bring Nisorin back from the edge of the Avenger, diving into his mind to seek him out within himself. To celebrate his victory, together they created a pocket dimension, smaller than most, and retreated into it for several hours. Inside the heavily protected dimension, she had given herself to him, completely and unquestioningly, marking their progression into the sixth stage of the Orion path.

Celestie Lertis, the second to undertake the metamorphosis, now stands before Keith in Hell as a new being. Her body's made the change to the form her spirit takes, just as Iroku's has. Due to differences in the actual performance of the change, her armor has been incorporated into her skin to create a mesh-work of tiny curicite scales. Due to the size of the scales, they provide very little change in movement range/speed, and only moderate protection from cutting/piercing weapons. Against things such as maces, hammers or fists, on the other hand, they can be inflated slightly to help disperse impact force. While alone it's of little use, coupled with well-designed armor it can be the difference between life and death.

The majority of the armor's material went into use to form her wings. The curicite molecules are bonded together in an unusual configuration, creating a light but durable webbing rather than the relatively heavy crystal. Because of this, the wing webbing is easier to heal through spells than most would be, but will no longer heal on its own.

The flakes on her face are leftovers from the shell, and will come off with her first wash.
Weapons: Twin longswords, Arcana, twin Terra pistols
Equipment: AAM Necklace, plate mail covering a chain mail hauberk, 4 frag grenades, 3 smoke grenades, 20 shurikens
 Magic Level: 5.5
 Force Level: 0
Appearance: Her transformation took small pieces of the cocoon shell and used it to form a decorative design framing her eyes and arms.

 Name: Alexander Ceris
 Age:   29
 Race: Arcana Relorian
 Alliance: Reloria
Biography: Raised by a monastic order, Alex never knew his family. After his training, he slowly began to question some of the teachings of the order. Seeking answers, he abandoned the Order only to find Nisorin shortly after, seeking the help of an accomplished warrior. After hearing him out, Alex decided to join him, the Sons of Plunder almost fully formed as they head out for a snow planet.

Determined to discover the answers he seeked, he watched Nisorin and Celestie as their relationship developed, noticing how strong they both were. Seeing this, and their relationship, he realized that the monks teachings, as right as some of them were, were flawed. Instead, he followed his own teachings, proclaiming himself to the order as a Relorian warrior, and continued to aid Nisorin and the Sons of Plunder.

During the ten years between seasons 3 and 4, he devoted much of his time to spending more time with Luna and teaching others his ways. He founded, and leads, the sect of Relorian warriors known as the 'Sierrensa,' roughly translated to 'Celestial Monks.' Fusing techniques from various different weapon-based martial arts styles, the Sierrensa represent the pinnacle of Relorian martial artists. By using the Weave inside each one, they often perform various different super-human feats during combat, from blurring speed to extreme strength, even to cutting through steel and other metals. His stay on the Ancient Relorian megalith only served to further their search for knowledge and their command over their Weaves.

 Name: Luna Ceris
 Age: 30
 Race: Arcana Relorian
 Alliance:  Reloria
Biography: Born and raised on a planet with blizzards year round, Luna quickly became accustomed to the cold, and by her ninth birthday, she had learned to control that cold, though in the process her soul became as cold as the ice she wielded. On her 12th birthday, her hometown was destroyed in a struggle for control over her planet, forcing her to live out in the frozen wastes for the rest of her time there.

She met Nisorin purely by accident, taking refuge in the cave he, Celestie, and Alex were already in. This happened well after her 18th birthday, and she hadn't seen another humanoid since the destruction of her town. Immediatly fearful, and thereby hostile, Nisorin walked up to her, in nothing but an undershirt and pants, arms out to the sides. Seeing her confused expression, he pointed to a pile of snow to her side, promptly forming it into a shining collar with floating ice blue wings. "For you, mistress snow." He said, kneeling before her and giving her the collar. "A gift, from the land." He continued as she allowed him to put it on her. "The land wants me to join you, so I shall." She said, surprising them all with her clear, strong voice.

 "Glad to have you."

During their journey outside the dimensions, Luna had learned about the existence of various embodiments, including Vahaga, the Embodiment of Snow. Visiting her home, Luna and Vahaga had become unlikely friends, using their love of the cold as a common interest. They both taught each other quite a bit, Vahaga showing Luna many new ways to use her abilities, while Luna providing information that Vahaga did not have access to, such as Permice, among others. This friendship was, unfortunately, cut off short with Vahaga's death. She has returned to the SP universe to investigate her death, and if possible, become the new Embodiment of Snow.
Weapons: Two slim swords made from Permice, they are quite durable, hold their edges well, and do not melt with even Hell's temperatures.
 Equipment: AAM runestone pendant
 Magic  Level: 5.5
 Appearance:
 AAM Runestone Pendant:
The rune is Jera, also known as Ger, and is one of fruitful outcomes, said to aid in creating beneficial situations, while the stone itself is sodalite, often used to help restore mental balance, clear one's mind, and grant courage and endurance.

 Name: Kerion Derto
 Age: 29
 Race: Arcana Relorian
 Alliance: Relorian Empire
Biography: Born and raised on a dense city planet, Kerion grew up as an assassin. Taking out powerful syndicate leaders, much of the crime syndicate came to know his call-sign: Shadowdancer. Manipulating the shadows themselves to distract guards and sentries as he went, no target escaped his voulge and staff, Longinus and Decerius.

Knowing full well that Nisorin could be the death of them, when he arrived on the planet Kerion was assigned as the assassin. Stalking for several days, he finally found his chance while Celestie was showering. Making his move, he covered the lights in shadow, sending the room into darkness as Kerion darted in, using his magic to enable his own sight. After the first attack, which has only missed once, he noticed that his target had disappeared. Then he felt the swords against his neck and spine. "Assassins are only as good as their employer. He wastes your skill. Allow me to free you from him." Nisorin said, uncovering the light as he pulled the blades away.

"I would be honored to serve he who defeated me."

During the migration, he trained with many of the most difficult simulations, several of which were Ancient Relorian consciousnesses downloaded directly into the simulator. This has enabled him to train with some of the greatest minds of the ancient civilization, which has improved his stealth and martial abilities by leaps and bounds. His time on the megalith, and the journey to it, was not all work however. Kerion and the psionicist Jade Tempora had become more than friends in the battles along the way, saving each others lives on many occasions. Shortly before the start of Season 4, they got married, the Orias ceremony used as their vows. They are now stage one Orien, and their magic/psionics skills have been augmented accordingly.
Weapons: Two of these and these.
Equipment: Chainmail with leather threads weaved between the rings to eliminate the clinking noise that happens during movement, a pair of climbing claws that attaches to his boots, four flash bombs, four smoke bombs, four sleeping gas bombs, numerous vials of various poisons and venoms, communications jamming equipment stored in lead-lined cases, 2 EMP detonators capable of blacking out a small city.
 Magic Level: 5
 Force Level: 0
 Appearance:

Name: Jade Derto (Maiden Name: Tempora)
 Age: 25
 Race: Relorian Psion
 Alliance: Reloria
Biography: Growing up in a warzone, Jade learned how to fight just as well as any other soldier by the time she was old enough to start school. Working on getting physically stronger during her free time, she found that she excelled in almost every subject at school, but particularly specialized in science. Developing her brilliant mind, she often did scientific research regarding lesser accepted subjects such as the paranormal and the existance of extra-sensory perception and kinetic abilities. Developing her own abilities at a young age, the bright woman worked out while studying, practicing swordsmanship and her psionic abilities with  the training dummies. Shortly after her twelvth birthday, the base she was living on came under heavy attack by an off world force. Many died, including much of her family and almost all of her friends as she took up the sword, her newest creation, the chain tail, sharpened and ready. She fought hard against the invaders, glad for the help when Nisorin came to her aid alone. Together, they caused enough casualties for the invading army to retreat. Realizing that she had no reason to remain, she joined Reloria initially as a head scientist, designing and  perfecting the current weapons of the Relorian infantry.

After the attack on Thorainor by one of the last remaining Kuo factions, which marked her fifteenth birthday, she decided to take up the sword again, resizing the chain tail to a more appropriate length as she entered the  Elites, now at Nisorin's side.

After designing and creating Reloria's drones, she has begun further research into the different  theories and possibilities behind them, creating and using her two personal drones, Anira and Aniru, as experiments. Along the way for their creation came the Analysis eyelet as well as her shoulder mounted energy rifle.

During the Migration, Jade and Kerion became a great deal closer through the various battles the race went through. Roughly half a year into it, they married, with the Orias ceremony as their vows. She has also studied much of the scientific data she found in the main research terminal, allowing her to design the new ship types, as well as give her two drones a very large upgrade.

Her research also led into prosthetics and other bio-mechanical creations. As usual, she used herself as a test subject, once she felt she knew enough about the subject. Her first experiment was replacing the psionically-controlled tail with one that reacts just like any other  limb would. From there, she moved on to her newly-created wings. They have earned her the affectionate nickname 'Technological Angel' from the Four, though Nisorin teases her about missing the halo.

In response to her separation from Reloria, she returned briefly to the Megalith to retrieve her most recent research project results. The hybridizing of Relorian and Aralian technology sent them forward quite a bit, and their continued analysis of Ancient Relorian technology was used in concert. Using her former position within Reloria, she got the Sons of Plunder's base, the Gehennae, as well as her new Daemon TSAD built before finally heading out to search for allies.

Working so closely with Kerion has only served to strengthen the romance between them, and they plan on performing the second Orias once they have both finished their scouting.

Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday.
