Building a House

[Zero]

In the desolated part of the city a young man walked through a path that he had traversed several times in the past the way towards his home. Yet this young man was not like the others who walked this path for he was the true owner of the property that he was headed towards. Clipped to his waist was a mark, specifically the mark of falzone. Carl would never let it leave his sight since it was one of his most precious items after all that he needed to survive. As he approached his home Carl could see the place had become trashed and was naught but rubble.

Someone would die. That much was certain when he found out who had ordered the trashing of his father?s home and so he scowled. Approaching the house Carl scowled. "Last time I buy insurance." He had earlier before his arrest bought insurance on this place. "Last time I buy a house as well." He held out his hand and a sphere of a silicon color materialized in it made from the combo of his magic and that of his book which went into the ground immediately and began to form a house. A sketch pad materialized in his hand and Carl began to draw a house on the sketch pad. Whatever he drew on the sketch pad would form thanks to the orb of magic.

His mother had perished. Watching the news on his PDA that he now kept with him synced up to the Mark of Gregory Falzone that he carried with him, Carl was now no longer in a good mood. His shoulders slumped and a meaner expression formed on his face. His eyes narrowed to slits as his muscles tensed up he would kill the ones who had done this a thousand times over. Now however he would need to build himself a house before he could even grieve and so he angrily drew on the sketch pad the design of a fortress armed with a lot of defenses until he had created a painting of what he wanted, the orb creating it out of materials pulled from the junk yard. Pulling out a phone he called up that scientist that was familiar to him. Balling up his hands into fists and clenching his teeth with a scowl as he glared at the ruined property Carl crushed the notepad, the energy he had used to start on the building fading. Then he yelled into the phone in a harsh voice. "I need information."

"Well, I do think you'll need to be a bit more specific, my friend. I am a man of science, after all; I have much information availible, but I dont suppose you're thinking of a physics lesson."

"Someone totaled my house, made it to rubble and took out my mom. I want to know who so I can commence with the fiery death of said person in the most cruel method imaginable." said Carl. His voice sounded darker than it would normally be, his body was tense and ready for action and even his book was a little irate. Given the circumstances though who could blame Carl for not exactly being calm about what was going on in this situation. With that a large orb of energy appeared above Carl's head his power level shooting off all expected charts, rising high above what would be normal as his sorrow was the key to something far greater about to be unleashed.

"Ye-e-es...Um, how should I put this...I've no clue. We dont know who wrecked your house, or we'd have saved you the trouble of finding out when you saw and just told you before you left."

"Okay then. Do you mind un-blacklisting me from the damn systems so I can check the sky eye program in the SDPS that Rezick set up if they are still operational?" Good thing he remembered his dad had programmed into the SDPS a recording and cameras so that they could watch every inch of Duerme. If the murderer had been there, he would be or she would be caught on video tape which meant Carl could commence with the fiery death of said person without a trial, the video being all the evidence needed.

"Im a scientist, Carl, I dont control those systems. I work solely in this station, so I wouldn't have the access cods to most major systems. Gregory did get your bank accounts unfrozen, but thats about it at this point."

Carl took that moment to slap himself in the face, and then picked up the phone from where he had dropped it. "See if he will un-blacklist me so I can find out who did this. Oh and warn Thel that if he comes within one mile of the property the defenses I set up will not be so kind to him and might give him a full body cast if he tries anything. Sick of interpol and Thel is one of their lackies." At that a mansion began to rise out of the ground, formed by Carl alone and not his book.

(Naughty naughty... regardless of how you feel about Thel, he is still the Commander of the military, and you are not above the law as hiro has stated. Anyways, it isn't wise to threaten a high ranking official.)

"Sorry, but I think Gregory's back in the mother-dimension on business, and Im afraid that Thel doesn't know me personally. Im sorry, but Im afraid there's pretty much nothing I can do to help."

As the Mechera hung up, a kid wearing a purple sweatshirt, and carrying a awe-inspiring, majestic guitar slung over his shoulder walked up to the place, seeing the clearly angry Carl even from the street. He decided friendliness would help the guy, andnot caring about it being private property, he walked to him and asked,"Hey, dude, you alright? Somethin' getting you down?"

"Some people are getting me down. Interpol in this case. They won't leave well enough alone." Scowling Carl held out his hand, golden fire consuming his mansion and making it into more of a fortress than a mansion complete with 10 story tall gates, that were lit up with a kind of blue fire. A blue fire that would kill any interpol operative that came in contact with it. Next Carl held out his hand, and a sign appeared on his property that basically said. INTERPOL STAY OUT! After that Carl looked at the musician guy. "Your guitar is giving off a magic signature. I think your help could be of use dealing with those interpol idiots that won't quit while they are ahead."

His book pinged Carl mentally.
Carl. We must head to Elmora, to gather information on something. I have incomplete data on a few items that exist. We need to see what those items are and retreive them.

"Perceptive, I guess. But nah, I dont think it'd do much to get into a direct confrontation with them, y'know? They're good people at heart, after all. Besides, by the same token, you seem to be holdin' that book there pretty tightly, yourself. My friend here's name is Melodia, and people call me Mezzo. Might've heard of me? Ah, anyway, what about you, whats your names?"

The book Carl had glowed for a moment trying to send a communication to Melodia.
So you are from earth?

Carl looked at him. "My book is named Info, and I am Carl."

A singsong voice was heard by the book, saying,"What was your first clue, that Im sealed in a guitar or that I've a human host?"

"Cool. Well, I've gotta get going now. Rehersals and all. Hope everything goes well, right? See ya." Mezzo said after checking his watch, and waving on his way away.

The book sent a telepathic message to the guitar Melodia.
Will you get your host's fans to try and distract Interpol for me?

Carl looked at Mezzo for a moment and prepared somewhat. A bag of supplies appeared near him as did things which he began to load into it, including weapons.
