Although much of the Zarethian's culture and history has been lost there are a few legends that have not succumbed to the power of ignorance. The first and foremost amongst these is a powerful beast that predates the Pre-Lorcar Zarethian Empire - even pre-dating the most basic of governmental structure on the Zarethian Homeworld. It is the story of the Planet Dragon, a massive beast made of a shell of molten metals imbued with immense magical power. In reality, they exist, residing in some planet's cores only to come out when they are disturbed or called.
They are beings of pure magical energy given form and restricted to their shell-like bodies. They can change their size and shape but they are unable to change the metal coating and fire that emanates from within them. They naturally form AAM in them so that they are not destroyed by AM fields that have popped up around planets the last few years.
They are sentient beings, preferring to keep to themselves more then attracting attention. However, their personalities are as different as other sentient beings and this is not always the case.
