Planet Warming Gift

The Anrufe, being the kind people whom they were, had picked this planet as their next target. It was close in proximity to Shuma, and they had heard about the recent change in government going on here. There were still some minor rebellions on the planet from the natives. The Anrufe would take advantage of this. It was the perfect world to conquer.

Red Zero appeared on the planet, a grin on the teenagers face as she looked out upon the many new colonists on the planet, examining their shocked faces... And then, the city caught on fire.

The Zarethian security cams brought up Red Zero on the computer screens and immediately the shielding systems began to work in unison. An AM field appeared around Red Zero and the city as water was telelported over the city to douse the fires. An particle shield appeared around Red Zero, pulling closer in to destroy her. Anti portal, anti-teleportation fields went up in seconds.

Snipers in ZPAA as well as security marines in ZPAA took civilians out of the city and surounded the hopefully trapped Red Zero. A security area was set up around the city.

As soon as the AM field was raised, Red Zero used her LAP Communicator to notify a DAIS ship nearby of the situation. The ship jumpdrived to the planet and raised an AAM field as Red Zero found shelter from resistance inside an unoccupied bank. From within the bank, she prepared for battle.

The fire seemed to be unique, as it's color quickly changed to black when the water began to attack it. It did not estinguish. It would take more than normal water to put these flames out. They were more advanced, you might say. They were magic, after all, these flames.

The particle shield went up around Red Zero once she was in the bank. She fought back against it, using a green colored fire to push against the shields in an attempt to break them.

But the shields had already surounded her person when she was outside if she tried to move she would take off whatever part of her body that touched the shields. If she did try the flames then they would pass through the shield and into the AM field where they would disapear. The flames of the city were put out already because of the AM field around the city, only the particle shields was on Red Zero.
 The five Zarethian super capitol ships brought their weapons to bear on the new intruder, making a portal in front of them then inside the ship's bridge and began firing weapons, their shields raised.

OOC: you ignored my AAM field.

The fire successfully broke the shields apart as Red Zero sat on the ground, cross legged, a smile on her face. With no AM field, her fire started to spread out all over the city, burning whatever it could. The ZpAA met heavy resistance before they could close in on Red Zero as animate gates rose on the planet and released storms of various wolf-like creatures which attacked the soldiers.

The portal on the DAIS ship was closed by mages before it could do any real damage. The DAIS ship seemed to disappear entirelty as a cloak went up around it. Various Raven fighters were released and began to fly towards the planet, releasing EAMs upon it to drain Zarethians of their energy.

OOC: And you didnt say how big it was. Not my issue. You simply said that it raised an AAM field.
The fire did nothing to the shields as they could not be touched by any matter. The particle fields closed in on her, slowly tightening their grasp. The City was not on fire due to the AM field and the abscence of any type of AAM field, which seemed to be around Red Zero. Portals appeared around the planet, completely encompassing it completely which would then separate the possible AAM field the ship was sending. They also appeared around the gates which had somehow appeared.
The Zarethian ships fired on where the ship was and where it may be due to its course. They sensed the magical signatures on the ship and fired there with their pulse cannons after closing the portal.

OOC: the fact that I did not describe the death of the flames in my AM post should imply that the AAM field was up around the entire city.

Red Zero gave a large sigh at the particle shields before raising a personal shield around herself which started to fight against the particle shield. The two would have to battle for control, but in the meanwhile, Red Zero was safe. She did not stand, but remained seated and continued her conquest of the planet.

The city indeed was on fire, as the AAM field had been raised. The fires near the portals turned a silver color and began to seal the portals shut. The wolf like creatures coming from the gates started breaking into buildings and destroying whatever they could get their teeth on. It took down ZPAA soldiers in the process, tackling many of them and ravaging them entirely. The EAMs successfully drained the city of most of it's power within the next few minutes, taking out many weapons and defenses. Only Anrufe technology seemed immune to the quick draining of power.

The ships shields defended it against the initial attacks. It began to move in position as magical signatures were lowered aboard the ship.

OOC: Not really. You shouldnt leave a battle in the hands of implication. Fact is better since you can have less variation in interpretation.

The AAM field that the ship produced was cut off by the portals around the planet, hence Red Zero's attacks would be ineffective. The fires would die down and the portals around the gates would stay up. Even if they didnt, the Zarethians raised to power of the AM field and the ZPAA soldiers would defend themselves against the creatures, firing upon it, ripping it to sheds. Hell, if they were to fight it with their hands they could kill it due to their physical power, speed and particle shields. The Particle shield would go against the personal shield of the terrorist, still closing in. Also because of the portal shield around the planet anything that tried to go into it would be sent to a pocket dimension with AP and AT and AM fields inside it.

The Zarethians pulse weapons produced an EMP blast that should break the shields and fry the electronics. Even if it didnt, the ship continued to fire, bringing to bear the portal pulse weapons. One of the ships brought its four cannons to bear, the weapons made a portal right in front of the weapons barrel and the second portal right below the shields of the ship, which they could still see due to heat signature and trajectory paths as well as the pulse weapon explosians.

The portals were pretty much useless against the AAM field as it had a co stant source of power. It had enveloped the entire planet and couldn't simply be absorbed. It was a lot stronger than that. The Zarethians were going down one way or another. They could rather surrender and leave or be wiped off the face of the planet by the Anrufe. It was going down.

The AAM field expanded to cover the entire planet. The sealing fire only got worse, continuing to seal the portals all over the planet. For anyone not actually fighting, it made for quite the display. As fast as a portal could appear, sealing fire would rise up to meet it and destroy it. This battle was going on all over the planet in one way or another, and portals would not be enough to get rid of the Anrufe.

The raising of power for AM shields was only limitedly possible as the EAMs by now had ravaged most of the planets power. The wolves only continued ravaging ZPAA soldiers. They were trained for combat. They were strong. They were a match for the ZPAA.

As the personal shield continued expanding against the particle shield, not budging one bit, sealing fire began to attack the particle shield from the outside, literally sealing the shield before it could have any effect on the seals. With two attacking forces on the shield, it would go down in a matter of minutes. This combat did not seem to phase Red Zero, who was enjoying playing with the fire she had spread throughout the planet. It was all like a game to the girl, who seemed not to care that she was ravaging an entire planet of people.

Many of the fighters and EAMs had already gotten through to the planet and wiped out much of the city before the portal shield actually rose around it. Fighters that were still in space began to attack it. They linked their shields together to form a large shield and began to bombard the portal shield without actually crossing through it in an attempt to drain it of it's power. That, combined with the loss of power it would be experiencing from any generator on the planet, would result in it's utter failure given just a bit more time. It was going down.

The EMPs did nothing to the DAIS ship which was well protected with shields, and EAMs only absorbed the electronic pulse. The portals rising on the DAIS ship were sealed quickly, and a one way anti teleportation anti portal field rose around the ship to prevent incoming portals and incoming teleportation. An over shield rose around the ship as well. It uncloaked and devoted that power to weapon systems as it prepared to completely obliterate the Zarethian ships here.

An armada of fighters, both DAIS peacekeepers and Anrufe ravens moved towards the Zarethian capital ships. The raven fighters literally started to tear holes in the shields while the peacekeepers used beaming technology to bombard it. It was going down.

On the ground, Raven fighters started to dig into the ground.

But it was simply not true. The wolves where no match for soldiers with weapons such as pulse rifles, who could move like lightning and strike with force enough to punch through a frigates hull. But wouldnt matter considering that the AAM field was transported into the pocket dimension rather than covering the planet. It would go around the planet, yes, but it would not penetrate the portals shielding the planet. It would simply be there, an aura covering the planet but not going deeper.
The portal shields were controlled by AI, they could think and move faster than any living organism. The shields went up within seconds, nothing could get through. No EAMs, no fighters, no power was sapped.

The particle shield was simply energy that broke down matter. Unless her shields could protect her from ever growing, ever powered shields that were powered by planet sized generators, it wouldnt matter. She would die. Another particle and energy shield was set up at an under layer of the portal shield. Nothing would get through.


The Zarethian ship's shields absorbed the power of not only the sun, which powered them as well as anything the Anrufe would shoot at it. The energy shields and the particle shields were up. The ships would do nothing. The Zarethian pulse weapons would have gotten at least one shot through simply because, no sentient being could move fast enough to close the portals before the shots were fired. It took two seconds, at most.
