The soldiers did not want to do this. Were it not for the nanites in them, they would not do this. Each one grabbed one of Yaiden's family members and said to them. "If we let you go, you wouldn't tell anyone would you?" It was obvious that if not for the bots inside them they would release the family, but there were nanobots inside of them, whcih was the cause of this problem. And surgery wouldn't get these out as easily as it did the ones in Lustre.
