No Radiation?
« on: March 18, 2010, 09:10:00 PM »
75,000 people, the last of the human race, in their radiation bunkers, finally realized that there is no radiation. Most of the people are in Russia and the USA. Some are still scattered around the world. The USA and the Russians are most likely the ones to survive, while the isolated pockets of humans would dwindle off, if they don't find any resources. The problem is, there is a lot of resources gone. Dead, floating fish would be their main source of food, and salt water would be their main source of water, if the technology to filter the salt and the bacteria out of the water. They do have that tech in Russia and the USA. Some countries, like the UK and China, do. The rest are most likely doomed to die. It is up to the humans to rebuild what has been destroyed, and populate the planet. Most of their knowledge is now gone, and they have to gain back the knowledge. Though, there is one weird thing. Where did the radiation go?

New York City, New York - Days after the resurface of the 75,000 (with the exception of those in the U.S.S.R.), the city's rubble has been cleared away. Though the city is now small, it is regrowing as a major hub of humanity. Here, a bizarre man with blue hair by the name of "Zero" has just announced that he will lead the reformation of the world.. And has announced the 'formation' of the Anrufe 'Empire'.

However Narasan's elite guard of 500 appeared on the planet and immediately went to gun shops around the nation grabbing up every gun they possibly could lay their hands on and every tank, motorcycle or aircraft they could find for their own use and then they teleported away.

Small Chaos Warps opened all around New York, and from them came Eyes of Chaos. The small eyes quickly attached to surfaces, and rooted themselves there. Ironic...Keith's Eyes landed in the perfect place to observe his friend's latest conquest. To any mere human, they would seem to be new species, mutated by the nukes. But to anyone with half a ability to sense magic or chaos, it would reveal a lot more. Fortunately, humans aren't gifted magically...But Zero has greater abilities for that. One of them landed near him, and didn't grip onto anything, but rather tried to follow him, bad at moving as it was. Keith was interested in his friend's exploits, after all.
OOC:See 'Countdown to Go' about these.

All 500 of the Tideans ignored the eyes focusing instead on loading up what guns or other terran weapons that they could scavenge onto trolleys which were then pushed through a very large portal. All of them knew that Narasan would be pleased with this big of a haul. At least they had some weaponry for their own use later on and Narasan would be content with their mission status.
