Akylos was long dead, and the Genesis King (or rather, the avatar of the Genesis King) had grown tired of waiting. He had figured they would appear, the Keepers, the moment Koty died. But in the last eight years, nobody had come. The King couldn't leave, or his avatar would cease to exist, but he could send someone... A messenger.
The flames on the thrones in the throne room had long ago died along with Destruction, but life was coming back to them slowly, and now small embers gave a faint light to the room. Appearing, completely unsure of what was happening, Cole Tyris and Chal stared at the Genesis King... With unknowing eyes.
"Wooooah," Chal spoke, "This isn't where I teleported. Uh... Excuse me sir, w... Wait... Those clothes..."
His eyes were fixed on the Royal Genesis Robes that the King wore.
"Those are Royal Genesis Robes... You haven't killed King Mokai... Have you?"
"Now that's a name I haven't heard in years," the Genesis King replied, "Mokai... I wonder how he's doing."
"Um," Chal replied, "I'm sorry, sir... I... uh...."
"I must apologize," the Genesis King admitted, "It seems that I brought you here on accident. I was attempting to summon a servant of mine, and I pulled you here instead... Though it seems you have Genesis in your blood... And you, too," he said, motioning towards Cole, "Though it is very faint... Though I swear you must be related to the Tyrises."
"Y-yes," Cole replied, "I am Cole Tyris, prince of the K Empire... Um... And you?"
"Why, I'm the Genesis King."
"Y-you're the who?" Chal replied, "King Mokai is the king!"
"I'm the old Genesis King," he replied, smiling.
"H-how is that possible!?" Chal retorted.
"This place is special," the King replied, "It allows me to have a sort of avatar, an image of my spirit. But enough of me... I have a very special job for you two, if you can help me."
"Of course, sir," Cole replied, bowing slightly to the elderly king.
"I need you to find the people on this list," he replied, handing them a piece of parchment, "And bring them here, all at once if you can."
"Right, but how do w-"
"Right, off you go then!" the King cut Chal off, and in an instant, they were gone.
