My race is of a shadowy humanoid creature, they are pure dark purple all across there physical body
They have control over shadows and darkness alike, thus they can take the darkness of a shadow within a particular reach
and create a physical form out of it(such as spikes from there hands or different kinds of weapons, and use the weapons to fight in combat.
They also have the ability to teleport between shadows given that they are already in a shadow and the shadow they wish to teleport to is within there reach based on there level, a higher level

means they can teleport to a more faraway shadow. If they manage to acquire your shadow there able to control you based on  your willpower, meaning if you have a higher willpower you wont be so easy
to control. If they come into contact with you, they are able to detect how much sin you have acquired in your heart and based on your sin you have within you
they are able to consume that sin, and heal rapidly any damage they've received. Additionally,  consuming sin doubles as their source of food. Each combat type of shadow-stalker has a regerouse training when they are raised

 In this training they create there weapon from themselves based on there characteristics and combat style. when they undergo enough training There respective created weapon tells them there birth name, which enables them to unleash there ultimate power from there respective weapon they created by a mere whisper of the word,
although they are only permitted to unleash there swords true power when they are near extinguish, thus whenever you kill one of these humanoid creatures they merely dissolve bit by bit out of existence until there is nothing left.
Until they learn there birth name they are simply assigned a letter and number which is what they will be refereed to by the rest of the colony, such as A1, or C5 Ect. They are quite the religious race as well, believing that there planets moon is a reincarnation
of there god, sacrificing the body that they have just slain, bringing it back to there home world, and sacrificing it to the moon god by a ritualistic ceremony. When changing the physical composition of the swords shape, they can change the weapon into another weapon only if its the
type of weapon they created from themselves, such as if a shadow stalkers primary weapon was a bow they could change that bow into another bow such as a longbow or short bow but it has to be some kind of bow nonetheless.

Personally, I like it, but the only thing is that sin is a matter of opinion and ones own personal interpretation of it rather than an actual manifestation in your soul. So saying that they eat sin or see sin couldn't really be possible since sin itself is just a word.

Ah, shadowmancers, eh? Not bad, not bad, but unfortunately a few issues:
Firstly, I am guessing they use magic for their weapons-of-shadow and shadowportation. You never specified anything else, so just to be certain I'm guessing they're mages.
Secondly, the controlling...Well, I can't say we DON'T have stuff like that on SP, but the stuff we do have is limited and specific as to how it works/how fast.
As for the eating sin, not entirely certain I understand...Its eating the person's evil? Evil is edible?
I think that's mostly it,  unless another staff member has something to say that I missed or whatever.

Well, the thing is, Hiro, that sin is purely based on opinion. Thats why we have the judges... they judge if what youve done is evil.

Also, look at Grunder Industries. They killed billions of people, and committed genocide against the Narikians. They didnt believe that what they were doing was a sin... it was just their way of life, and how they believe.

Has ti has been explained to me, the shadow part is an innate ability, its only teleportation with it that needs magic. However the sin part is easy, look over at the Negi. That is the kind of Sin he is talking about, However for a system that makes it work all races. I'd say if you are doing something you believe is wrong and still do it. You will radiate some kind of energy and that is what they eat. Negi like Kurai who do wrong thing on purpose most of the time would be like a steak dinner.

Thanks Capxeno but i can fight my own battles. Basically sin is up for interpretation and ones perception, however sin is particular to each individual. Each person holds a set of morals and stances and when they break those morals or such, the sin is manifests as its own creation in there heart( kind of like a soul) then when they come into contact with a shadowstalker, the shadowstalker detects how much sin they have accumulated(kind of like my spidey scence is tingling) where in this case my sin sence is tingling, then they can manifest sin into a physical form( kind of like spirit energy) then absore it and eat it. I know its alot to take in but i will try to explain it as best i can.

Also, yes there shadow powers are magic based.

I'm just having a problem with sin being a manifestation in the heart (Our soul in sP i suppose). If they could detect the Negi part then that would be acceptable.

Dude, sin has already been a manifestation of the spirit and magic (not magic they'yre normal) Negi are when that sin gets to its worst andor the person tries to harness an untrained magic that is high of power. But the sin is still there growing little by little as people sin. Think of sin as darkness but in our universe named sin due to the symbolism the word normally holds. That and it sounds cooler, lol.

Hikaru pretty much got what I was saying. Sin is just the word im using for darkness of the heart.As youre sin grows inside youre heart the shadowstalkers are able to detect that amount you have accumulated.


P.S would it just be easier if instead of sin I called it darkness

Nah, I was just unaware that was something that already existed IC. If it does, then there's nothing wrong with it, aside from the controlling thingermawhatsit(though that may just be me).

I kind of want to contest the IC concept of Sin and darkness then... Both are up to personal interpretation and meaning. There is no universal law of sin, or what is right or wrong. there are morals that guide us, but nnot everyone or every culture has the same set of morals.

Maybe the universal law of sin and darkness is simply the 'oficial' law set down by Eli and Koty in North and South? I mean, killing is evil to them but in some cultures killing isnt really a bad thing, but those cultures would be sinful to the judges, Koty and Eli.

I intended for sin and darkness on SP to be manifestations of two things, one being the corruption by the morals of the perpetrator (if one truly believes they are sinning and corrupt, they are), and the other being a universal set by not just Eli and Koty but all the embodiments, who created the system of Positive and Negative Energy based on Creation and Destruction. There's no absolute, only relativity which leads to a general state.

You could also go with the Philosophy approach that there's the Moral good, then the moral evil and natural evil. Natural would be what Lyoko is describing as sin up to the interpretation to everyone. Moral evil "darkness sin" being the sin we naturally do that is against the set laws.
