A voice would begin to speak to Hist, telepathically. I was going to take care of these myself, but Samuel tells me you seek membership into the Anrufe. Here's your shot. Consider this an audition. I'll send down some help to join you.

On the ship, Assassin's voice played over the comms in the Hangar Bay. "You have a go. Move in. Beware, the enemy has lined some sort of trap into the soil. Good hunting."

The skies, meanwhile, continued to grow darker.

The troops of the Black Legion continued spilling through the wormholes and soon more and more gathered, seventy-five in all and they stood around for now, waiting for any orders from their commanding officers.

As the voice rang through the Hangar Bay, a grin split the face of The General and he turned to his troops before roaring out a series of orders. At the orders, the Black Legion split up into five squads of fifteen Vionix were squad. One of each squad carried a Shimmerstrike missile launcher and another carried a Fusion Rifle.

"Right, we've been given leave to go down, let's go!" The General pointed forwards and the sergeants (Equivalent) of each squad stepped forwards and slashed their hand through midair, causing a large rift to appear there. The General done the same for himself and then nodded and stepped through the wormhole he had created.

Upon the surface of Walape, a good few dozen meters away from the Disciples, a series of soldiers would step out of rifts in space. The men lined up into their squads and one lead from the front, looking at the Disciples with a bemused look on his face. The Disciples, if they had seen one, would be able to recognise these soldiers as Vionix, a race that was supposed to be their ally, except with one difference, their eyes were only one solid colour.

All of the Vionix dropped into firing positions, the Shimmerstrike launchers loading up with armour piercing shells and those wielding Flash Rifles started to charge up their weapons, readying a rather catastrophic barrage that would hopefully bring down the shield but The General had not given the order to fire yet and they just waited and watched.

He heard the voice. Regarded it, and meant to earn membership. He wasn't going to die permanently by enemies that retreated from a little acid. How unfortunate he thought. Yet, memories of feeling the wind on his wings... the glances of those strange purple wings. Pain of who he had lost, and never could win back seeped out from deep within himself.

While the wound the serpentine man inflicted on himself had already healed. The Acidic blood still multiplied, filling up the local underground. With a strange precision, walls of green crystal blocked off the blood's spread. Locking it in, as it still multiplied. Great pressure would be exerted on the underground, as the serpentine man ripped out from his false skin. Revealing a two wings, two legged scaly beast, the only feature that remained similar, was his red slitted eyes. His scales were a deep black.

40 meters to the flank opposite to the Black Legion, the ground shook violently, as a eruption of acid, rock, and ash composed of dissolved rock. Taking flight, the beast flew high, exhaling balls of acid onto the troops.

The Blizzard quivered and become solid. As it raged, the snow that composed the blizzard became hard, dense, and sharp. A shielded fight in this blizzard would last less than a second. Chanting could be heard coming from every part of the blizzard, as the icy structures seemed to grow into the sky, and sink deeper into the ground. Creating an unnatural and hard permafrost.

The grid continued to spread unfettered, fanning out all around the barrier. It would start being built around the squads now forming and was becoming massive and elaborate, towering into the sky.

The Vice-Prophets hit the barrier with Corruption Beams, converting it into a protective Corruption Field. The rest of the soldiers put their energy into supporting it.

The corruption beams hit the blizzard, as it spread further across the planet.  The gale and snow reacted with eerie purpose, as it thickened at points of impact with the beams. Encasing the beam creating heavy solid cylinders of metallic ice. The grid was cased in a thick layer of condensed ice. So condensed in face that when its growth disturb the ice, it would explode with exponentially more water, which would refreeze almost immediately.

The winged beast continued its onslaught of acid projectiles. The exhalation of  acid, vibrate in the air creating a frantic song, as the song reverberated, magic circles appeared where the sound touched, a strange lime green glow emitted from these circles.
