It had been eight whole years since K2323 had left the dimension, off to train with Mokai in the Genesis Kingdom. Since then, K2323 had grown so much in his magic, learning things he never thought could have existed. Who would have known back then that the key to forming a double spiral air void with Genesis Magic while under the influence of your own magic's overcast was to create a destabalization field? Or, who could have told him then the difference between a Qualtic Spell and a Taeic Spell? It had been the first time that K2323 had trained with other dragon sages, besides Kai, who for the longest time had been the only other dragon sage in existence (that K2323 knew of, anyway).

Only, he had to give up everything for the last eight years. His two sons and his wife, all of which he had just gotten back, he had to leave behind for a little longer. He hadn't seen his wife in decades before reuniting with her eight years ago after the Battle of Shore and the Battle of Plex during the Plexan War, having thought her dead. He hadn't seen his sons in several years before then, either. He was a big family man, and everyone who knew him knew this to be true.

How much, over the last eight years, had he longer to hold his wife in his arms again, to love her, to kiss her sweet lips, to feel her body heat as her skin pressed against him. This had been on his mind every single moment of every single day for the last few years. Reuniting with his wife. Alas, now, it was time to return to her, to kiss her, to love her. With a brilliant, white flash, he appeared in the K Castle, the royal building in a garden outside of the city, a replica of the castle that had once been in the Realm of Existence.

As he appeared there, in the foyer of the castle, guards immediately prepared to attack, before seeing that it was K2323 (and Chal), at which point they bowed. The former King had returned.

A young man with caramel hair was leaning against the wall, a small snakish fish floating by his shoulder. As he looked up to see what had caused the flash, he was significantly less amazed by the sudden event then all others in the room, save the snakish fish.

"It never ceases to amaze me how great your predictions can be," Reykjavik said. "But you were off again."

No mortal can guess events perfectly, K said. Let the man settle in a bit before you prod him with questions.

OOC: If you're wondering what happened, I'm going off of the mind sharing that happened during the Event. K saw something, and made an educated Guess at where K2323 would have gone, and when he would return based on what he saw, and what accounts of K2's disappearance after the fact.

A while after K2323 got adjusted in and reunited his wife, he came back downstairs to thank the guards for their respect. When he saw Reykjavik in the background, his memory jogged a bit. "You look familiar," he noted, approaching the man.

Reyky smiled in return and then answered, "Yes, I helped in the fight against Plex."

"Ah, yes, and you... Uh... You," he said, glancing at K, "Were the one guarding the item which we used to kill my father. I see. Well, what brings you two to the palace of my son? I'm afraid he's on official business, though you're welcome to wait, if he's who you're here to see."

"Actually we were here for you," Reyky said. "The being that attacked us in the Festival of Waves, the embodiment, the dog like being that made everyone depressed, do you know anything about it?"

"Ah, yes. Heartbreak, one of the Emotion Embodiments. I have heard stories," K2323 recalled, "But I haven't really met the guy. I'm afraid my memories of being the embodiment of Fate were lost when Fatet died."

"Right. You might try to find a Templar that can help you. Uh, I believe you know where Inarin is?" K2323 suggested. He seemed preoccupied, as he brought out a glass orb which now had a crimson red fog around it.

"Every embodiment has a certain item that is their death, enchanted with the power to destroy them. Most embodiment know not where their item are, some do and have it hidden in the most secret of places. Your friend there," K2323 explained, motioning towards K, "Was part of a system meant to guard the item used to destroy my grandfather, Anarchy. That's why we journey'd to his dwelling on Shore."

Reyky pondered for a second, then asked, "So if you get the item, will be like a weapon that you use to beat them to death, or will just bringing it in their presence kill them?"

"In a matter of speaking," K2323 explained, "The death of the shell, not the essence. It is similar to the concept of death for us mortals. Our body dies, but our spirit survives. The embodiment's essence takes upon a new shell when a successor is chosen. This could take days, or it could take years. It's always different."

"Yes, I'm af- Somebodies here," K2323 noted, his eyes locked on the man before him, "Look. If you want to find Heartbreak, I hear rumors that some embodiments -- especially the old rebel ones -- still hang around the embodiment city in South. You can get there by visiting the Spirit Realm."

He created a portal to the Spirit Realm, bowing to the man. "I'm sorry. I've got to go. Tell the judges I sent you."

"Alright," Reyky said. Stepping up to the portal. "Thanks k2. For everything."

And with that he stepped through the portal, into a world not his own.
