Um...Hik? Tropes aren't cliches. They're just general explanations of tools used in fiction. Like The Virus, which encompasses any form of viral hivemind-type thing, it Eagleland, which just refers to how either America sees America or how restoftheworld sees America. Or Narm, which is when something is supposed to be really really serious but due to the way its portrayed by the actor or how it sounds it has more of a comedic effect(usually, this is unintentional). But yeah, Tropes=/)= Cliches.
