Another Entry
« on: March 13, 2010, 06:09:19 PM »
The Aralangs finally discovered that the equation in Era Valley held the coordinates to the HQ.

A portal was opened in a hallway, and Gaserlake came through with an escort of 25 very experienced troops, as well as an Elite, all armed to the teeth. The portal closed behind them. This place has been abandoned for a long time. Who knows what's in this base. They don't even know why the base has been abandoned. The only thing Gaserlake knows is that it is not an Aralang base, apparently because the floor is made of wood, and that it's an abandoned base. They are in the middle of a hallway.

Lights. Candlelights, lit all up and down the hall. These lights quickly illuminate the hallway and reveal many doors on one side of the wall (and on the ends of the hallway), and on the other wall.. A great window of some sorts, overlooking the storm that the base was currently submerged in by the base security system. The base was waking up.. Because it knew that Aralangs were here. The Aralangs -- Long, lost brethren of the Guardians who had held this base. The third branch of the Guardians had come home.

It's the first time Gaserlake has been in this base. They began to feel that they are welcome. They looked out the window in astonishment for a moment. Then, they went back to do what they are supposed to do. They began to search the rooms on both sides of the hall, looking for something that could be valuable.

In one room, they found a giant can-opener machine of some sorts with a label on it. The words on the label were written in an ancient sage language which perhaps the oldest of the Aralangs would be able to decipher from stories their parents would have told them.. It said, "Ome Koj Ware Doo Noga Eebaba Dekaba Odaba, Evava Devaba Dahaga! Maga kaba uuba beeva suga brea daba abe consuba sabia. Coba dahagea pivava," or basically, "Dangerous! Do not use this can opener, it may suck your blood out and consume your soul! Dangerous parasites live inside this can opener!"

In another room, they found more productive results. This was the lab of Agia Damaphia, a scientist in the agricultural department of the Guardians. On his desk were many notes, including one particular folder of notes about a plant called Seesha, which it detailed experiments with. According to it, there were samples of the plant in the green-house.. And it grew by itself, without need of a human caretaker.. Year-round. By now, the greenhouse would have been over-run with Seesha.

Apparently, this Seesha plant actually ate magic and was very dangerous, but could be controlled by an experiment Agia had been working on.. By crushing pills he had made using a chemical formula and placing the crushed pill inside the soil near the plant roots.
