Hawkeye had been before The Grand Testing Instructor of O.R.P.H.'s Nephew not too long ago. The nephew had been subbing for his uncle and had given Hawkeye a test to see just how well he was at Characterization. If Hawkeye had passed, he would have advanced to intermediate Characterization class. However; he quickly failed the test, perhaps due to a lack of patience on behalf of the nephew.

So, now, here Hawkeye was. He had once more been warped out of his basic class of Characterization in order to retry the test. He now stood before a great, white hall which he had been in once before. It was the Hall Of Testing, where those who took endtests were summoned. And now, before Hawkeye, was the Grand Testing Instructor Of O.R.P.H. Academy himself. Which turned out not to be Orph, who was simply the tester for battle classes.

The instructor, who we shall for short call The Great and Powerful Oz, sat in a red chair. The red chair was the only piece of furniture in the otherwise entirely white hall. It was placed against the wall, often lonely when nobody sat in it. However; at the moment, testing was about to occur. And so, Oz sat in the chair with a great smile on his face.

His deep, happy voice roared, "Come, boy! Tell me of your studies!"

"These halls," he explained, "are different. They show the personality of those who are inside them. So, tell me, why are these halls white now? What have you learned in your time with Hikaru? And please, hurry! My wife is fixing meatloaf at home."

The halls turned to a pinkish hue at this, signifying his love for his wife. Or meat loaf. Either way.

"I'm still the Grand Tester you ass, I'm just far to lazy to give these simpletons actual tests." Orph muttered, standing in some corner.
The world is a mess..and I just need to..rule it.

"The halls change according to the emotion of the user." said Hawkeye. He was ready for the test this time. Emotionally though he was angry that the guy had failed him the first time. He was feeling like taking a blade and driving it at Oz. He hated the guy's freaking guts at the moment.

Oz noticed as the walls of the hall began to change in their hue. The white changed very slowly, though.. And as it gradually did change, red could be seen on these walls.. A reddish tint. One of anger.

"Tell me your heritage," Oz demanded.

Hawkeye began to explain about his heritage and the walls changed color, no longer were they the red of his anger but the hue of blue and of being lost in thought. He was for the moment lost in thought and having an inner struggle. He was having a hard time determining what exactly to do with Oz once he finished the testing. He realized of course that the only sensible thing to do would be to kill Oz.

Hawkeye thought the question over and his body muscles tensed up. Revealing personal information was not a wise decision. Yet he still needed of course to pass this test so he could be rid of it. The more he thought about it the swifter he came to the conclusion that he had no choice but to tell.

He went and said that he was part indian though cacuasian male mainly. He didn't know much at the time about his heritage.

(My my, Hawkeye is a quite violent person.)
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

"Yes, and how does it feel that your ancestors were severely killed off and forced into labor by American colonists?" asked Oz, sipping coffee which had suddenly appeared in a mug in his hand which had the words, "Mystical Wizard Figures Convention 2004" on it.

Oz's words struck an angry part of the soul of Hawkeye causing his eyes to change color and the pupils to vanish from them. They were now completely red, and his body was glowing with red energy. It was making him pissed off that this person dared insult his heritage. Yet it wasn't the way he had been raised up to fight this guy over trivial matters such as heritage and so he took a deep breath and relaxed. "Alright. It doesn't make me very angry. "

"Then, why did you kill that fellow, over there?" asked Oz, pointing to a dead American colonist in the corner of the hall.

A look of astonishment came over Hawkeye's face when he saw that. He had not killed this guy so apparently Oz was being stupid. Well then if that was indeed the case he began to tense up and take deeper breaths to keep himself calm. He merely stated to Oz "I for one didn't kill that guy. " The walls shifted to the yellow. The yellow color of truth being revealed.

"Nah. I did. Because I wanted to. What does that make me? Evil?" replied Oz.

"No. You only fulfilled your desire harmful as it was. Perhaps you had a reason he was killed. " said Hawkeye concentrating. The walls changed color once more to that of white since he was bored.

"Very well. You pass," Oz said, bored. At the end of the hallway, two golden doors appeared.. The doors to Intermediate Characterizaiton. "Say hi to Mrs. Hikaru for me," Oz requested.

(Well Hikaru, seems you've a good amount of work ahead of you.)

(From what I can tell, he has met the standards on which he was taught. While I am lazy, I do believe he is deserving of intermediate characterization as he has a character with a short backstory and a somewhat detailed personality.)
