With the battle finally over, it was a mere matter of time before the flames that ravaged the planet died down, their fuel run out. And with the surface finally safe once again, the reconstruction could begin. Starting off, the massive amounts of water were drained from the charred slag of the planet, leaving just what had originally been there. Next, the blackened wreckage was removed from the surface, a laborious task given that most of it was city-sized but much easier than draining the water had been(especially finding a place to put it, after all). This scrap metal had all been once homes, shops, the very stations the civilians depended on for life during the start of Violet's colonization...Or they'd been tools of war, the Contingent forces of the Mechera Empire deployed to defend this peaceful planet of nature...All of it would be reused. Not into weapons programs necessarily, either, in fact the vast majority of it all went into the construction of new Eco-Generation, Development, and Maintenance System Seeds, also known as the Ecosystem Terraforming model. Specially developed eight years past for a project that, ultimately, unfortunately never saw the light of day, these large Seeds were literally the key for breathing life back into this desolate world. The Mechera couldn't bring back the lives that'd been lost...But they could bring species back from extinction. The detail of how the technology worked is of little great importance(for those who still care, the link to the request post iiiis:
http://shatteredplanes.com/forum/index.php?topic=2015.msg27113#msg27113 ), but what matters is that while the Mechera had not sent teams of biologists to categorize all of Violet's species, they had scanned the life below. They had the data of the species that'd lived...They could program the Seeds, and Terraform the old life back onto Violet. As well, the Mechera began development of new Colony Frigates to be developed into more Floating Cities for the Mechera population on world. The technology in orbit hadn't been damaged in the attack, and neither had any of the space stations, thankfully, and all of them were temporarily Repurposed into factories to produce the Seeds and program them with relevant data, or produce the City-Frigates which would allow the ecosystem progression to be closely monitored. Even other planets of the Mechera Empire, from this dimension to their home dimension were rallied in their own ways. By no means did many leave their homes and jobs to be a part of the Violet Reconstruction Effort, but was at the center of most of the Mechera media networks. Information spreads fast in a online culture, and infinitely more so when the people themselves are data. Careful manipulation of this rallying could be used to drum up support for the counter-invasion, but not quite yet. For the time, they were content to rebuild what as lost, and restore the beauty the scars upon this world had razed. That said...The military forces already rallied at Violet were
pissed. The planet was under effective lockdown and considered a highly restricted area. Not even the closest allies of the Mechera, such as the Zarethians, could safely traverse this space without prior clearance. Only Mechera government ships or personnel were allowed in the area, and only they were there.

[Lord Tactician, the scientists are requesting clearance with you to perform experiments on the prisoner.]
[Why me? Shouldn't this be considered a Harmony operation? I'm with the Hostility Sector.]
[Sir, they thought perhaps because this is a prisoner of war, and not a common criminal, it may fall under your sector.]
[Hmm, fair point. They took out that magic-ey organ of its, right?]
[Yes, my Lord.]
[Then tell 'em to go crazy, s'long as we don't have to scrape her off the wall afterwards. Only stipulation is she survives, apparently. This is from high brass, by the way they said same to us if we're gonna try interrogations. As long as her magic is bound from her, she can't really fight back. Keep 'erthe under the fields during all testing and moving between the cell and chambers, we don't want any 'rescues' to go off...Not yet, anyways.]
[Very wise, sir. I shall relay the message at once.]
