Personality (one paragraph minimum): Andrei is a very dedicated Agent to the Hand. He has a strong sense of patriotic obligation, and an outstanding moral compass, which gets him into trouble sometimes. Generally a very kind and caring person, he will go out of his way to help others.

Character's History (Minimum 3 Paragraphs): Commander Tarkov was born on the Zarethian ship, ZNS Absolution. He was born to a very poor family, which helped him appreciate everything he has. Unlike many Zarethian Officers in the Hand, he didnt go to any prestigious academies, but rather wen tto the public schools in the fleet. Tarkov was a very smart boy, and came out in the top of his class.
Tarkov soon enlisted in the Zarethian Marines, and excelled in his unit. By the time he was finished with basic, they had already promoted him to Lance Corporal. By age 60, he was well known in the 1st Fleet for his ability to read the tide of battle. A skill of which he had shown in training, and exploration combat. Even though the military was slow growing, Tarkov eventually became a Gunnery Sergeant by age 146.
With Tarkov's help, his platoon won the Council's Joint-Unit achievement award during their exploration of a potential planet. At age 213, he was promoted to 1st Sergeant, and led his Company with the same result. At age 235, he was given a commission as a Warrant Officer, and went on to specialize in Naval Intelligence.
Not too long after, at age 269, he was scouted by a young HIRU Lt. Commander named, Regis Hermitage. With Hermitage's help, Tarkov was accepted into the Zarethian Hand's HIRU Unit as a 2nd Lt. By the time he was finished with training, Hermitage was already a Commander, and next in line for the HIRU Colonel Position. Upon the expected appointment to HIRU Colonel, Tarkov advanced to 1st Lt. Hermitage's subsequent appointments to Commodore of the Diplomatic Security Service, and then to Special Defense Units Director, which held the rank of Rear Admiral, led to Tarkov's promotions to Captain, and Lt. Commander.
During a classified operation, dubbed Operation: Battlemage, Lt. Commander Tarkov drew a weapon on, then Rear Admiral, Hermitage during an interrogation. Although Hermitage convinced Tarkov to stand down, he was reprimanded and demoted to Captain. Despite this, When Hermitage was appointed the Assistant Director under Eric Mann, Tarkov was promoted again to Lt. Commander.
After a successful joint operation with the DAIS MI7, and the replacement of the HIRU Colonel, Tarkov was promoted to his current rank of Commander in 2054. He currently serves as Commander in the Zarethian Hand's HIRU.
