...If this were a video game like Mass Effect or Fallout, this seems like it'd be a alignment choice concerning the Commander. XD

@Hawkeye: If you're controlling such a mass number of people, you'd need a mass number of people to maintain the spell. AKA the dragon. I destroyed the dragon.

Not control. It merely amplified whatever animosity they had towards their leader and gave them courage to stand up for themselves. I will remake it.

Not your characters to say they had any; considering that the area in question was revolving around a research lab that wasn't even trying to hide the inhumane experiments they were doing, they probably would have at some point made some sort of brainwashing serum or something that would make them blindly loyal. XP
