One of the students who had been assigned by the instructors for Patrol Duty saw one of the sets and opened fire with a Zarethian Pulse Rifle removed from the armory. The student was armed, but did not know who he was attacking. Nor did he know the teachers now were under the control of the Anrufe. Good thing the Quartet was ordered not to slay Narrikian students. The rifle while recharging was holstered and a couple of energy spheres were shot at the pair he had noticed. The student was in the gray and black uniform most of the students actually wore during their second year. Of course he had fired only after he watched one of the teachers die.
