Dead Men Tell No Tales
« on: October 25, 2012, 12:11:09 PM »
K City was a harsher state than most. After the September Riots, they had really cracked down on crime -- and many viewed the monarchy as tyrants because of it. Cole Tyris had recently broken off from the royal family, and there was speculation that the harsh treatment of the smallest offenders was part of the reason why he broke off. Regardless, right now, K City had a problem -- everyone they'd just executed had come back to life.

All over K City, hornet fighters were trying to round up the dead to keep them isolated. They weren't exactly having the easiest time, and many made it out of K City before they could be captured.

The zombie apocalypse had began. Overnight, the dead turned corrupted. As their bodies and spirits became suddenly incompatible, the revived would be helpless as their bodies went crazy. Infecting. Killing. Biting. Eating flesh. Everyone who died, regardless of rather they'd been bit, would find themselves suddenly transformed into zombies due to the Spirit Realm failure. Needless to say, things were taking a turn for the worst.

In K City, seeing as the zombies were all mainly kept in one place, there was nothing too bad to worry about...

Until the zombies broke free from their prison.

Hours had passed, and the zombies kept getting free from whatever prison the K Empire put them in. Finally, in a brave, heroic display, Fiske Tyris stepped up to volunteer to take care of the zombies. How? Shackles of Prometheus. He was going to literally bind the zombies in their prison, at least temporarily.

...But the spell? It could cut his lifespan dangerously.

Bravely, he stepped up to take the risk.
