Two Super Capital Vessel dropped out of FTL, scanning the planet. Any major cities or civilization in-fracture was quickly identified. These vessels were on a mission from the Wayward Marid. The Xuna II and The La Plas II. The Xuna II deployed its Frigates around the planet in a formation that would prevent anyone leaving or approaching the planet. While the La Plas II loaded its Frigate Slug FTL Cannon, a single round fired at the planet, should it hit would cause catastrophic damage to the planet environment, something akin to an asteroid hitting the planet... at faster than light speed.
Additionally, the fleets would destroy any surviving cities or civilization infrastructure. Should that phase of the plan succeed, the fleet would begin removing the surviving population, and in temporary stasis transport them to a new location. In this case, they would be put through re-education and be fully reprogram into slave soldiers for the Wayward Marid.
This planet would become the first step in Caliph's dream of an Imperial Marid culture, ruling the planes.
