Diplomacy of Blood
« on: December 03, 2012, 06:44:43 PM »
Two androids made in the shape of normal humanoids and modified with the tech the Narrikians had made to install new pieces of tech in older stuff, these androids contained actual veins that contained blood. However the armored shell they had likely was going to prevent it from being removed. The blood acted as their power source. For through the blood electrical current flowed making these in a sense mechanical humans.  These were stronger and faster than normal humans, about 30x so. They had been sent on a mission of the utmost importance that Silas was not going to trust a human or a Narrikian to accomplish. The mission was to put another nail in the coffin of the Anrufe. A  permanent nail because when/if this worked the Narrikians were going to have a powerful ally. The drones arrived in the city, and began to search for whoever was in charge. They also tried a multitude of languages to find the right one for the planet in question that they were on.

The majority if the Vampires spoke dialects of common, though there were a few Vampires who didn't and about half of the Possessed spoke only in entirely dead languages. Finding who was in charge would actually prove to be a fairly easy task, as he lived in the noble's district lying in the center of the largest residential zone on the planet. The hard part would be getting to him, however. While entrance to the Noble's district was not prohibited, the building Lord Jeremiah lived in was, and the drones were stopped at the doors of the skyscraper-cluster(essentially several Skyscrapers connected by bridges and pathways high in the air). "What business do you have at our government sector,"One of the Vampire guards, a Arcarni, said as it looked into the drone's eyes. It was going to call the drone a mortal, but it hesitated, noticing some uncanny difference between a living being and the coldness of a robot. It settled with referring to the drones as,"...Machine."

"An alliance with your leader, and the promise of a lot of blood if your help allows us to win..." said the machine.

The Crawler looker at the drone for a few seconds, before sighing and realizing it wouldn't be able to read its body language. "Whatever happened to sending people as diplomats, anyways...Well, I'd ask you what it is you want to win but you're probably programmed not to tell me anyways. If nothing else, learning of whatever this conflict entails might prove to benefit our Coalition, so you may as well be shown to Lord Jeremiah's advisor, Remus Vincent. He shouod be in the penthouse floor of the north tower, as is usual for him. Oh, and if there are any squeamish mortals looking on from afar with your robot's cameras...Well, you may want to instruct the android to avoid the meal halls. We are Vampires, after all." As the Arcarni spoke, two small spiders crawled down a thread of silk onto the backs of the drones' clothing. Once there, they kept still, only there to keep a eye on where the drones went and make sure they're not headed anywhere they aren't supposed to.

The drones went right to where they were supposed to and spoke to whoever was in charge. "We have heard that you have technology allowing you to kill armies at a single time. Our commanding officer, Nicholas Russelford wishes to purchase the exclusive rights of producing the tech from you. In short, you will not be allowed to give it to other empires. He also wishes to hire a few of your more skilled combatants to guard the Galactic Super Max Prison that has been designed to hold any surviving members of the Terrorist cell known as the Anrufe." The drones waited for a response.
