Zakary finally popped out of warp space in his personal craft, the Star Dragon. With him at the prow of the ship, just behind the pilots, he watched as began to hover stadily closer to a large multicolored ball in the nothingness of space, Elemora.

Zakary returned to his homeworld after five years of building a large company, not to reunite with his family, but to discover the arts of alchemy. Theonly person he knew of to research alchemy was the Light Elder, so he told the pilots to go toward the Light continent.

As they began to hover over the sphere, Zakary prepared for going into the Light Elemental's land nd thus dressed accordingly. He put on a off white pair of robes and prepared to teleport.

The humming of the teleportation engine grew louder and louder and then it was all quiet. And right before his eyes The Light Elemental continent appeared, shining with, well, light. He made his way through the glowing woods to the nearest town.

He was met by a squad of Light soldiers. "Halt! Who goes th-Hey, wait. I recognise your features...You are a Fire? I am sorry, bretheren, if I've startled you. Hm, you dont seem like you've been to Elmora in a while, judging by your outdated dress." He said, with a bit of a chuckle. "Allow me to fill you in. We've recieved reports from the other kingdoms that the lands have become...Popular, lately, in the case of Tech-Crafts((term for technology users used by Elementals, refering to technology as the 'craft' used by the people; a Fire Elemental would be considered a 'Fire-Craft')) and the like. In response to this, the kingdoms have stepped up patrols, to find non-Elementals and make sure they dont cause trouble. However, I can see from you wearing the dress of the land, even if outdated, you still remember our customs. If you need help, do not hesitate to ask, Fire."

Zakary grinned and looked down at his robes. "It was the latest fashion when I left." He laughed. "But I suppose times change. And it has been a long time since was last here. But where are my manners?" He bowed his head slightly to each of them, in fire elemental custom. "Well met, my light friends. Do any of you perchance know where the High Light Elder is? I came from a long way to talk to him and seek his guidence."

"The Elder of Light? My, it seems that there's been a bit of interest in them...The Alchemist, I believe, if at the Gate currently. I think he said he was going to perform a few tests on its magical composition, last anyone saw him. Ah, but you may not rcognise him...He seems to have founda elixer of youth of sorts. Trust me, he certainly doesn't LOOK elderly, heh heh."

Zakary nodded and thought for a moment. "None of you could possibly come and help me identify him, could you? Or at least give a me a description?" He asked uncertainly.

They laughed a little, before saying,"Well, he'll probably be the only one there, you know. Hedoesn't have any apprentices at the time, haha. I'd be surprised if anyone else was there at all!"

At the Gate however stood Zane. He was practicing Light Alchemy.

"If Pedalo returns, I will be prepared. He won't get the gauntlets killing him, that would be too easy."

OOC:Light magic isn't nessesarily Alchemy, though it can be used for it, Hawk. And the Alchemist isn't looking for apprentices, though he's more flexible with Elementals about this(like Zakary).

The Light Elder saw the Fire, having been trying to conduct his experiments in peace(though he allowed Zane along to talk to and such), and turned his head at him, slightly confused at his choice in clothing and how he was there, having not used the Gate to get into the continent. Then, he looked like he knew something. He went over to the Fire-Craft, and asked,"Hello, brother of Fire...Might I ask your name?"

Zakary broke his star from the odd man in the gate and looked at the Light Elder in faint relief. He was trying to find him after all. Zakary bowed his head respectfully to the Elder. All Elementals revere the Elders of all kind.
"I am Zakary K'olar, Elder. It is an honor to meet you." With the proper formalities done for his part, he waited.

A smile crossed his face. "Yes, that explains both your dress and your seemingly random appearance. You see, I'd heard about a Fire having decided to leave with a Dark from the Magician, Elder of your land. She mentioned the name Zakary, I believe. And as you know, I am the Elder of Light, the Alchemist." He said, bowing his head in respect as well. He turned to his companio. "Ah, yes, where are my manners. Zakary, this is Zane. He is something of a Elemental-In-Title, and a good ally of ours. He has some ability of all Elementals, due to his guantlets, though not yet perfected as much as our own. Still, he's getting there."

Zakary bowed his head to Zane, unsurprised that the news of his and Sara's leaving was known by this elder. It is an odd time when an elemental decides to leave, almost unheard of.

"I am here, along with my Wife, who is up in our vessel, to learn the arts of Alchemy. Who better to learn from than the Alchemist?" he smiled. "I want to learn how to build worlds, livable worlds, where none existed before. Is this... possible?" He asked tentatively

Looking at the gauntlets forlornly Zane realized what had happened. During the brief time he had lost his magic something had happened and that was that the gauntlets too had lost their power.

He no longer had the powers of the Elementals at his disposal or did he? He felt the power within himself but not stored in the gauntlets. The power felt stronger than what he had access to when he used the gauntlets.

His voice was tinged with happiness and joy as he vibrantly exclaimed
â€œI've done it. I've achieved your magic without the aid of the gauntlets. I can do all the things each of your races can do and more.â€ Upon ending the statement he was tempted to dance for joy at no longer having to use the gauntlets if he did not wish to.

He slid them off and made light, each the color of an element envelop them re-enchanting them. He said to Zak. "So you want these?" He offered the gauntlets to Zak. "With my new powers manifest, I no longer need the gauntlets."

Zakary thought for a moment, then spoke calmly "I have... friends, their world was consumed and lost to a threat of great power. For nigh a century they have traveled the stars on ships, unable to find homes of their own. I feel great sorrow for their predicament, and I wish to help them."
He looked at Zane and accepted the gauntlets gingerly, not knowing what he was talking about, but obeying the custom accept gifts. Otherwise he might be insulted.

OOC: At this time, Zakary doesn't know that they have a world.

OOC:@Hawk, well, it still wouldn't be as strong. The way I'd see it is some of the residual magic from the guantlets 'rubbing off' on him. Elemental Magic itself, though, is genetic, and is as strong as it is because of specialization; if he were to be using Elemental magic, with all their elements, sure, he'd be able to use a vast amount of abilities. But he'd be mediocre in skill.
@Zak, I see...

The youthful elder(XD) thought on this for a while. After a bit, he merely said,"My condition is this...You must collect the materials yourself. I have many materials, but alas, they all have purposes I need them for. Then...Are you ready to begin?"

Zane looked worried and said to the Elder â€œSoon I will be going on a long journey to hone my skill and if it is okay with you during my absence if he agrees, Zak shall be the new gauntlet wielder until I return to your planet once more.â€

"Zakary...This man, Zane, has aided in keeping a great evil from the lands. As for him being the new weilder, Zane, the title isn't very nessessary any longer." The Alchemist said, satisfied with the finding of the inner workings of the Gate-exactly nil. Same as always.
"Alright, then. You wish to learn Alchemy? Then lets begin our lessons. What would you like to create first?" He spread out a mat, with several intricate designs on them. Each one, if examined, was a single part of a greater circle, and the mat itself was a circvle. There were several rings to the circle, each depicting another part of Alchemy itself.

"Yes, I do." Zakary answered, calmly, sitting down across from the Elder on the mat. "If we are to start... I might want to try something simple. Lead into gold for a classic example. That should be easier." He was a bit wary of Alchemy, it was sort of a forbidden art, something that you weren't supposed to know.
