Tempora Psionic Augmentation System
Tempora Armor:
An exceedingly high tech set of full body armor and helmet, the Tempora Armor is custom-made for the individual Elites who 'suffer' from the same strange defect that Jade Tempora does, removing the ability to utilize magic, but gaining a particular talent for Psionics. The armor is powered by a micro-battery assembly near the central computer, and recharges by a thin layer of flexible solar receptors wired to the battery.
The armor itself is made from flexible polymer fibers lined with thickening liquid, a mixture of polyethylene glycol and particles of silica whose chemical structure stiffened instantly into a solid under rapid compression. The gel displays a highly nonlinear rate-dependent sheer resistance, which basically means it can stop a bullet or a knife while still being comfortable to wear. The suits are also fitted with ceramic composite trauma plate in various critical areas such as the chest, stomach, shoulders, waist and groin, outer thighs, and calves, as well as a small plate over the knuckles and back of the hand. The gloves have fiber-optics lines running like veins along the backs of the hands and along the body, leading to a small but powerful computer in the small of the back that is held on a belt that can be separated from the rest of the armor, reinforced with the ceramic plates. The belt buckle often depicts familial or squad insignias, which are often either artful or intimidating. The armor has various micro-sensors inside it, allowing the wearer to 'feel' the world immediately around them, in a complete sphere, when the armor is worn over the Tempora Shirt.
With a verbal, somatic, or psionic command, the entire suit of armor can electrify, repelling any foes attempting to grab the wearer. The gloves have a potent weapon in them known as LIPC weapons, or Laser-Induced Plasma Channel. Using a relatively low-powered laser at a precise wavelength to cause atmospheric oxygen to form a plasma, one with an extremely low electrical resistance, effectively creating an accurate and powerful lightning weapon, allowing the wearer to 'shoot lightning from their fingertips.'
Tempora Shirt:
A haptic shirt that pulses electronic signals like pixels on a screen, giving the wearer a sensory impression of the area around her. While the most often used impression is that of the wearer's surroundings, often owners reserve specific areas of their skin for more powerful electronic pulses, such as alerts from their TSADs, news articles, etc.
Tempora Glasses:
Coming in a large variety of styles, the glasses have highly specialized lenses that act as a sort of HUD display, overlaying various different bits of information over the wearer's eyesight. They can link to the small computer worn by the psions. Customizable with a large multitude of layers, they are capable of hooking into the Corsair Hive Network, as well as the TSAD Ad Hoc networking system, and when combined with the user's psionics, a powerful psionic network spanning galaxies, enabling near-instant communication with other TPA users. The glasses have a Hi-Def photo and video digital camera mounted just above the nose-piece. With use of the camera unit, the wearer can switch to nightvision, infrared, electromagnetic, and motion-detection vision modes.
When the Tempora Armor, Shirt, and Glasses are used together, the psion can use various somatic, psionic, and verbal commands to control a myriad of Tempora Squad Assault Drones, or TSADs. They can link the drone's sight to their glasses, either one lens or both, designate a 'leader' drone and 'slave' other drones to it, etc. The TPA system uses a combination of fingerprint, retinal, vocal and facial recognition, as well as biorhythm and psionic scanning, to 'log in' to the user's account, enabling the use of saved overview layers, psionic messaging, and other features. The only features able to be used without logging in are viewing the wearer's vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, etc) and the environmental factors (temperature, humidity, barometric pressure.)
Tempora Squad Assault Drones:
Razorback: Resembling a stunted motorcycle with arms and eyes, the Razorbacks use 3-cylinder high-efficiency combustion engines to reach upwards of 120mph, as well as a quiet electric motor capable of running at 45 mph for stealth applications. Cheap to manufacture, the Razorbacks are equipped with four 'arms' with exceedingly sharp swords attached at the 'wrist.' Their secondary weapon is a powerful laser system designed to blind the target, can cause permanent blindness. They are the fastest land-based TSADs.
Owl: An atmospheric VTOL mini-jet, the Owl is designed for recon and surveillance purposes. With no armament of its own, it is capable of reaching 450mph, and tracking human-sized targets on land from great heights.
Falcon: Utilizing miniaturized Moa Intellimissiles and gauss autocannons, the Falcon is another VTOL mini-jet designed for ATG combat. Capable of speeds of 350mph, but only accurate around 250mph.
Psitank: Resembling modern tank models, the hover-based Psitank is equipped with a large gauss cannon utilizing explosive rounds encased in iron, as well as seven high-caliber machine gun turrets. Heavily armored, the Escalade-sized tank is the brute of the TSADs.
TPA users often employ one additional TSAD of unique design as their personal methods of transportation. All TSADs are equipped with TPA glasses and portable computing systems equipped with ultra-wideband emitters, which jam normal radio communications.
Jade's Unique TPA system:
While visually identical to the standard TPA systems, Jade's has design-level permissions over all of the TSADs, and command-level access privileges to Relorian systems. The glasses have been integrated into a helmet made of the same materials as the armor, including the ceramic plating. Her portable computer was designed from scratch for extreme processing power, and so is a bit larger than most. The armor has been modified to allow her prosthetic wings and tail. LIPC units have been added to the shoulder plates as well as the tip of her prosthetic tail.
Jade's Unique TSAD Daemon:
Well over fifty feet tall, the Daemon is the single largest and most powerful TSAD. An eight-armed quadruped, two of the arms have concentrated particle pulse cannons, two with extremely large LIPC arrays, and the final two wielding a large sword with a chainsaw-like blade and an energy-based shield generator, with the physical element large enough to be used as a solid-type shield should the generator not function. On the back are four large, 250mm cannons that cannot be used unless the unit is in a sturdy stance. The legs have swarm missile launches built into them to combat aerial units.
