Hey Soul Sister by Train.
"Soul Sister"
Setting: Nox, Sometime In The Near Future (After the Plex Tournament)Hey, hey, hey.Hikaru could hear Koty's heartbeat. She had just been through absolute hell in an attempt to find him after he and Lucifer had ended their fight in hell. She knew that Koty had lost on purpose. What she didn't know was why. Why would Koty allow Lucifer to continue torturing all the people of Hell, and demeaning Koty's abilities!?
She wondered through the darkness of the field in Nox. The black sky made it hard to see the prairie grass blowing. She still knew that it was there, and she could feel it touch her skin. To an outside observer, it would seem dark -- evil. Now, though, she thought it was beautiful, and could see that it truly was Koty's soul.
As she tried following the sound of Koty's heartbeat, she couldn't help but yell out, "Koty!"
And then, she was next to him, standing still in the grass of the field.
Your lipstick stains on the front lobe of my Left-Side Brain."Do you love me?" the figure that was Koty asked, turning to the pink-haired woman beside him.
"What?" Hikaru asked, dumbfounded.
"Do you really love me?" Koty questioned again.
"I just went through hell for you. I had your child.
Of course I love you."
"Then kiss me."
Hikaru reached in towards Koty, complying with his request. By now, she was acustomed to the odd sensation. She reached in and kissed Koty, square on the lips. The kiss lasted for what seemed like an eternity. Finally, the two broke off, and Koty stared at Hikaru, smiling.
"I have something to show you," Koty told Hikaru.
I knew I wouldn't forget you and so I let you go and blow my mind. And then, the two were not in a field at all. No, they were in a great temple of some sorts. They were still in Nox, which gave off the same vibe, aligned with Koty's heartbeat. This was, however, the first time Hikaru had seen a temple in Nox. It was truly a beautiful temple, but one thing in particular caught her eye. In the middle of the temple, there was a large statue of Hikaru, made from stone, which seemed to radiate beauty.
"Koty.. It's beautiful," Hikaru commented in awe.
"I was hoping you'd like it," Koty replied.
Your sweet moonbeam. The smell of you in every single dream I dream.Hikaru couldn't help but fall into the arms of Koty. He was wonderful. He had made her a statue -- an entire temple, for that matter, all in her honor! She swore that every time she blinked, she fell in love with him more. She could hardly stand being away from him now, as if their being apart tore apart the very fabrics of existence around her -- something which she knew from personal experience was not fun.
As Koty wrapped his arms around the form of the pink-haired girl, he explained, "Ever since the Orias, I've been having these strange.. visions in my sleep. It's like I'm there.. but I'm not. I don't know what I'm feeling."
Hikaru smiled. The thought had never occurred to her before, but had Koty never dreamed before? Thinking about it, there would be no reason that he would need to dream. Even in his binded form, he had retained the old habits and traits that he truly owned. Was one of these traits a dreamless sleep? It would make sense that upon preforming the Orias rituals, Koty would pick up on Hikaru's abilities to dream -- not an entirely great fact as, before she met Koty, she had always had dark dreams.
But it seemed Koty's dreams were all but dark.
"You see," Koty explained, "In these.. visions, I saw this temple, and a voice was calling out to me, telling me to make it reality."
I knew when we collided, you're the one I have decided who's one of my kind.Hikaru's mind went blank as she found herself saying, "I love you."
"I love you, too."
And the pair leaned in for another kiss. Upon kissing, it was almost like the air of Nox was pushed back for miles, and as if all that was ceased to be, the only exception being the two who now were in union. As reality was pushed back, the two opened their eyes and broke from the kiss to see that they had indeed left Nox and now were floating in the whiteness of existence, staring from where they floated at the dimensional plane which was miles away, but a dot to their eyes. Koty looked into Hikaru's eyes and smiled.
"Hey, soul sister."
End.
