If it includes spirits there has GOT to be a damaging drawback. Spirits are a persons damn existence. You're not getting such fucking easy access to them as you want. No natural eaters of spirits. Not unless it curses him or SOMETHING.

You do realize he has to either bind you in such a way that you can't get out while he eats you alive, or has to kill you and then EAT you before he can even do a thing to your spirit? And no, there is no logical reason for a drawback, just because you say so.

It leaves him COMPLETELY vulnerable, if he ate lets say, Hikaru, and Hikaru beat him. It probably wouldn't be much of a stretch to say Hikaru would kill his spirit.

Um no? I may not have approval power. But the planes of existence still doesn't fucking work and neither does eating spirits without a fucking drawback. And yes I do have the right to say that as I brought int he concept of spirits and spirit energy.

Hik, if it hurts him, it doesn't make sense that he would want to eat them. The thing is, its sufficiently weakened...I dont get how he'd tone down the process any further.

Yeah, easy to kill. Considering the IMMORTAL SPIRIT (IRL - Soul) shouldn't be killable anyways!
Spirit Fire it can be, but Spirit Fire comes with life threatening fucking drawbacks.

Revelation didn't kill spirits. It consumed it when the person died. And still didn't kill it.

Hiro, there's a difference between sealing and destroying a spirit.

I have to say that it would take damage for him to eat the spirit, regardless if he won the battle or not. Defeating the spirit in the battle is one thing, but eating it is another thing.

It makes no sense, though...What would his motivation be?

And I have one character who does what amounts to the same thing, though in a different manner. Desmaldo, the gun Possessing Cero, literally devours the spirits of those he possesses, and gains power from absorbing them into himself...So, I dont see what the problem about that is...

Though, since Hik is so adamant about it and wont let up, I guess you need to change the backstory anyway Orph...Unless you think up a good reason. Also, you need to apply the changes to the application.

Then Desmaldo shouldn't have been approved, Hiro. That was a flawed request. There has to be a drawback for doing so, aka damage. For this, Hound's spirit has to be damaged, too.

...There is a drawback to it...Desmaldo, is a gun. He himself is sealed within a gun, and has to operate through other vessels to actually do something on the outside world.
Again, different method. He literally absorbs their spirits into himself, which overpowers and overrides them. but he needs direct contact with the being in question, and to overpower their minds. Since he already has a vessel, he doesn't do this. Also, its not all at once, it rather takes a while to complete. Sure, he possesses them almost instantly, taking hold and corrupting their spirit(which is how Cursed Objects work), but it takes a while to actually devour their spirit in its entirety.

I said I had a character similar, not the same. It amounts to the same thing...But its not THE same. My point was, its possible for it to work.

Even rocks have their own spirits. I would say it would damage the gun's spirit in the process, though. This has the same concept as Hound, in terms of destroying the spirit and using its energy.
